Elegant halls decorated in pastel blues along the walls with soft white circles here and there, a creamy golden pastel on its lower bound broken up with small speck of intricate designs a red and brown speckled spiral an elongated brown tinted tail of sorts, the oceanic decorated hall was mesmerizing as always as the warm four legged creature observed.
Clicks and pricks at the ears of those that would be able to hear as the shiny semi see though limbs and claws of the creature clicked against the hard and polished stones of the smooth hallway, the creature itself had no such hearing to be wounded by these sounds as it glided along the floors slick as the soft black scales of its torso and neck slickly twirled and shifted ease it's movement, eyes carefully scanning the halls of it's almost mase like home, the decorated halls' center path lightly dimmed in color from it's constant passing.
The walls themselves glowed but only for her a guiding light that no one can see the cautious warning of her sight.
She slid down the same path as she lay to rest in her wonderous treasures each of the glass like claws indenting itself within a glass branch perch carefully colored with a black base to match the fade from her torso to her limbs and tail.
Now the room lay still a perfect glass statue of some legendary beast laying in watch of the entrance as the centerpiece to the wide open room of murals and paintings and books and gold and statues of stone and glass and its spiraling design a few floors up to a semi green covered glass top that shone down on the same clear and black statue.
Now once again the creature would rest, without a need for food and all content taken in, she simply rest waiting for someone to come.
She waits for them to come home.
Everything ready for once they do, not a cobweb, weed or imperfection imprinted into the ancient building.
One deaf waits for the blind, the taken appart and the small.
With only skulls laying in the halls to express her loyalty to those that may dare seek to destroy all that she knows is left.
