Not Alone

Chapter 8

I didn't see Harry the next day, in fact I didn't see none of his friends either. I guess it was normal for them but then they didn't come in the rest of the week.
It was Friday night and I of course had no plans. Mum was working late again and I was left being completely bored.
I turned on the tv and went through the channels trying to find a movie. I just put any random one on and it ended up being a mystery film. I was completely lost until I got a text from Harry.
Can you open the door it's cold.
I got up and looked through the living room window to see Harry Styles outside. I made my way to the door and opened it. His eye.. It was black. "Harry what happened? Are you okay."
We settled on the couch and after I didn't get an answer I asked him again.
"You wouldn't believe me."
"Maybe I would, what happened?"
"Well the boys and me were honestly just walking and then your ex-boyfriend decided to bring along some friends and give us a beating. As if it's my fault that you left the other day."
"Keith? But why would he come here and not even come see me."
He shrugged his shoulders and I decided once and for all I was going to text Keith back.
It didn't take long for him to answer.
He denied the whole thing and when I showed Harry he just sort of blew up.
"Who do you believe?"
"I-I don't know." I looked away from him. He wouldn't give himself a black eye and I doubted the fact that Keith would come here just to give him a beating. I got up to go get ice and gave it to him.
"I've been like this since Wednesday, I don't need the ice."
"You know you could put makeup to cover that up..wouldn't wanna ruin your reputation."
He laughed and after a little bit of convincing and promising to go on a date I was putting concealer to make his eye look better.
I pointed him the mirror and you could barely tell.
The colour was a little bit off but who would really notice.
"I think I'll need a little bit more till this goes away."
"It'll be our little secret."
He looked at the tv and said," oh Ya it was her boyfriend who killed her."
"Heyy,You just spoiled it!!
"No you weren't watching it so I didn't ruin anything."
I crossed my arms and pouted.
"Don't pout I will be back tomorrow at 6:00 for our date and some makeup. See you then angel."
Soo there going on a date!! And did Keith really give him a beating?
