"Okay, kitty boy. The other day I think you proved yourself enough to stay home alone while I go to class."
Minho was looking at the cat who sat on the couch with all three cats surrounding him.
"It will only be for a few hours. You have plenty of snacks to eat without the stove or oven. You know how to use the t.v and you know how to take care of the cats. You won't cause mischief right?" Minho points his pinky out at him.
Felix tilts his head as he looks at the finger. He was wondering why Minho was presenting his finger. The older sighing softly as he seen how confuse he was.
"Bring your pinky out like mine." Minho instructs making Felix comply.
"We hook our pinkies together." Minho curls his finger around Felix's. The cat doing the same.
"Now bring your thumb out and kiss it." Minho does the action. Felix copying him with a giggle.
"Then we push our thumbs together." Minho pushes Felix's thumb to his.
"You just promised me that you won't do anything bad while I'm gone. You can't break promises either, okay?" Minho tells him as he takes his hand back. Felix nodding rapidly as he smiles.
"Good kitty boy. I'll be back." Minho ruffles his hair before leaving out the door.
Felix was staring at his hand where Minho had just shown him a new thing. Always enjoying the things that Minho taught him but this one meaning more to him.
He shows his hand to one of the cats as he said, "Lixie will be good kitty for Min."

"Hey kitty boy! Kitty boy!" Minho calls into the apartment as he enters. The living room was dark and quiet. Felix no longer sitting on the couch.
"Felix?" Minho begin to worry as he made his way down the hall. He seen his door close and sniffles coming from inside.
Minho throws open the door to see the room empty. He could still hear sniffling though.
"Felix, where are you? I'm worried." Minho called out as he looked in the closet and around the room.
"Min is going to be mad! Lixie was bad!" Felix cries.
"I won't be mad. Just come out and tell me what's wrong." Minho says as he looks around. That's when he seen Felix crawl out from under the bed.
"Kitty boy, why were you under the bed?" Minho crouches down towards the boy who was sitting on his knees.
"Min is going to be mad." Felix wipes his eyes.
"Tell me what's wrong. I promise I won't be mad." Minho sighs. Felix stuck his pinky out as he looked up at him.
Minho smiles as he hooks his pinky with him to lock in their promise.
"There was knock at door. Lixie answer it. Mailman brought present. Didn't notice." Felix whispered as he shook his head.
"Didn't notice what?" Minho felt something nudge his leg. He looked down to seen Soonie and Doongie rubbing up against him.
"Where's Dori?" Minho knew the cats traveled in a pack so he was confused to not see the third one.
"Didn't notice. Didn't notice." Felix keep repeating as he started crying again. Going back to crawling under the bed.
That's when it clicked in Minho's head.
Felix didn't notice Dori slipping outside before it was too late.
"Felix, how could you?" Minho blood pressure was rising as he stood. Almost sending daggers towards the bed where Felix was curled up under.
"Didn't notice! Didn't notice!" Felix rambles out.
"How could you be so stupid?" Minho growls as he marches out the room and slams the door shut behind him.
He left his apartment to start his search around the building for Dori. Hoping the cat wouldn't have gone far.
He spent countless hours walking around the building and even further down campus. Shouting the cats name and shaking the bag of treats he had.
When he thought he would finally give up, he was in tears as he enter his apartment. He enter the kitchen and slammed the treats down. Scaring the other two cats in the process.
Minho slumped down against the counter and slid down as he laid his head in his lap. Tears being the only sound you could hear from that apartment.
"Ta-da! Happy Birthday Minho!"
Minho gasped as he stared down at the kitty that was curled up in the present box. It was so tiny and barely fit in his hand.
"Hyunjin! I love her! What's her name?" Minho smiles as he cradles her to his chest. The other two cats being peek in curiosity as they approached them on the counter.
"Her name is Dori! I swooped her up before they put her down." Hyunjin frowns. The younger had worked at a pet store who took in animals from kill shelters. Once Hyunjin seen the tiny kitty, he knew the perfect person to give her a home.
"She's so precious. They love her too." Minho scratch her head as he let the other two sniff her.
"I'm glad you love her." Hyunjin smiles.
"Thank you, baby. I love you."
Minho was so caught up in his memories that he didn't notice the note on the counter.
Familiar scratchy handwriting had made out a note for the cat owner.
lixie much bad. broke promise. will leave min alone.
