After hours of Minho breaking down his story of Hyunjin in small words for Felix to understand, the cat was in tears and cuddling in Minho's lap. Handing out apologizes left and right about what he did. Not calming down enough for Minho to try and talk to him.
"Lixie sorry! So sorry!" Felix cries out for the hundredth time. Not knowing much else to say.
"Will you calm down, kitty boy? I told you that it was fine already. I know it was an accident." Minho rubs his hair. Felix shaking his head stubbornly as he spits out another apology.
An idea clicking in Minho's head as he said, "Well then I guess you don't want ice cream. Man, I'll have to eat it all myself."
Felix rubbed his eyes as he sat up sniffling, "Why Min have to eat all ice cream?"
"Because you feel too bad to eat some, right?" Minho stands from the couch and makes his way to the kitchen. Felix quick to follow him.
Minho opened the fridge and pulled out the Neapolitan ice cream that Felix has been nibbling on.
"Not too bad." Felix mumbles as he watched him grab a spoon and open the ice cream.
"No, no, no. Go ahead, keep apologizing because you feel so bad. I'll just enjoy all this ice cream myself." Minho was trying to hold back a laugh as Felix gasped seeing him eat straight out of the carton.
"Min said no eat out of carton!" Felix points out.
"I can do whatever I want since it's all my ice cream." Minho shrugs.
Felix rushed over and snatched the spoon away as he said, "I'll stop! Just let Lixie have!"
"Good kitty boy." Minho pats his head.
Felix giggles before going to eat out of the carton but Minho stopped him.
"Still use a bowl though." Minho grabs a bowl and hands it to him.
"Sorr-" Felix stops when Minho gave him a stern look. Minho helped him scoop some ice cream into the bowl before letting him run off to the living room with the ice cream.
Minho put up the ice cream as he noticed Soonie and Doongie had appeared by his feet. Both meowing at him with tilted heads.
"Oh my goodness! I forget to feed you guys! I'm so sorry!" Minho rushed to grab their bowls. Grabbing their food from the pantry and then rushing back to the kitchen to make them.
As he did, the two cats sat on the counter, watching his every move.
"I know this may seem off schedule but I'm sorry. It's okay if you guys are angry." Minho talked to them as he made the bowls. Getting two meows in response.
"Come on." Minho finished the bowls and nods for them to follow. The two cats jumping down and following after him.
"Here. Eat up, pretty girls." Minho sat the bowls down in their spots and sat close to them.
The two cats quickly began eating as Minho watched them. His eyes trailing off to the third bowl that was going untouched. He didn't even realize that he had made the bowl for the cat that was no longer there.
