JONGKEY
"How was that?" Key asked the sweaty Jonghyun as they stepped out of the studio. Key stretched, wrapping his arms around Jonghyun's waist.
"Tiring," Jonghyun laughed and rested his head on Key's shoulder. Key nodded in agreement; he was aching all over. Rehearsals had always been about pushing you to your limits and practically making you suffer under the sheer pressure of it all, but management wanted them to get fit, and workouts under extreme conditions were apparently the only way to go about it.
"Are you ready to go and get something to eat?"
"Shouldn't we wait for Onew?" Key asked, glancing back towards the centre.
"Nah, he was hugging a vending machine the last time I saw him," Jonghyun laughed and pulled Key down the street to the car park. "And Taemin is in there with Minho anyway."
"But they've probably gone off on their own..." Key had a feeling that something was going on between them. He didn't know what to think about it. Jonghyun nodded and they walked in silence the rest of the way to Jonghyun's car. It wasn't an awkward silence though, it was comfortable, and Key still had his arms around him.
Jonghyun opened the door for Key and joined him behind the wheel.
"Where to?" Key asked, playing with Jonghyun's hair as he drove out of the car park.
"Anywhere we find," Jonghyun laughed. They drove on for at least ten minutes until they came across a noodle house. "Perfect!" It was remote so no one would recognise them - hopefully.
They got out of the car, noticing that snow had begun to scatter about the grass. Key shivered in the cold air, but linked his arm around Jonghyun's as they walked into the restaurant.
2MIN
Minho was exhausted from the what seemed endless amounts of training for the Internet War show that they had spent the entire morning and half of the afternoon doing. Minho wanted to fling his arms around Taemin's neck as soon as Onew had left the room saying something along the lines of, "the food needs me!"
"We're alone," Minho mused, biting his lip. He blushed and walked over to Taemin who was still practicing a tricky move he couldn't get the hang of. Taemin stopped mid-spin, tripping and falling onto Minho. "Sorry," Minho laughed, steadying him.
Taemin laughed with him, his face shining from the sweat. "It's so hot in here, or is it just me?"
"It's definitely you, Taeminnie," Minho chuckled, "You're so wonderful, not just hot."
Taemin shook his head and pulled away, shrugging off his shirt and slinging it on the floor. "You next," Taemin teased, backing away. Minho tried to follow but Taemin just shook his head and giggled.
"Not yet."
Minho sighed and frowned, but took off his shirt anyway. Taemin was turning red in the face again, but didn't falter. "Stay there." He motioned to where Minho was standing with his hands crossed over his chest. To Taemin's surprise, when he had first taken Minho's clothes off, Minho was seriously self-conscious about his body. It sort of explained the excesively large coats he always wore. Taemin wondered how he had been convinced to go shirtless on stage for this show.
Taemin ran down the corridors until he found the room he was looking for: the storage room, where they kept all the old mics and speakers that didn't work anymore. "Perfect..." Taemin grinned, picking up two discarded mics and then running back to the room where Minho was. He supposed that it'd be best to use old mics, in case they dropped them. He was stopped midway by Onew who looked confused. "Taemin! Why are you running around... shirtless?"
Taemin stared down at his chest which was heaving up and down from the sprinting. "Uh..." Taemin wasn't sure what to say, so he just smiled and said, "Helping Minho out with one of the moves. You can go back home." He nudged Onew to the direction of the exit.
"But Minho's really good at..." Onew trailed off as Taemin had already started running off again. Onew shrugged it off and went in the opposite direction.
Minho was standing in the same spot with his hands in fists at his sides. "There you are!"
"Sorry, I was caught up by Onew." Minho shifted awkwardly from one foot to the other, which made Taemin add, "Don't worry, he won't come back here, and Jonghyun went off with Key somewhere." Minho nodded and relaxed a bit.
"So what have you got planned?" Minho asked, looking pointedly at the two mics in Taemin's hand. Taemin just shook his head and put a finger to his lips. He threw a mic over to Minho who only just stopped it from falling on the floor. He fumbled around until it was facing the right way up.
"Stay there and let me do everything... We'll go through the routine again," Taemin whispered, getting excited as he walked across the room to the stero at the back. He typed into the computer and a song came on, a song Minho had heard a thousand times before. He was almost tired of this song, but it might lead to somewhere this time, now that no one else was there.
"You can't be serious, we've done this so many times--" Minho started, but Taemin hushed him and started walking, almost dancing, over to Minho in time to the music; it was dark music that sent a shiver up Minho's spine. It was different now that it was just the two of them. Minho closed his eyes and held the mic away from him. But he didn't move - maybe he should've danced too, but he didn't.
Taemin began to sing along, but his voice was quiet, barely audible over the speakers. Taemin's hips swung and he twirled, his hair flying out of his ponytail. Taemin was almost smirking, not like the Taemin Minho knew at all. Minho swallowed but his mouth was dry.
Taemin was in front of Minho, running his free hand over Minho's waist and up his side. His singing was low and husky but still quiet. He leaned over, his hair brushing Minho's chest, as he started to kiss up Minho's stomach, his chest, his neck, still holding onto the mic with one hand and singing softly in between each kiss. Minho threw his head back and, despite hating the idea of it all, whimpered. This was almost too cruel.
But then Taemin dropped the mic on the floor and grabbed Minho's hair. The mic rolled away, but as it was unplugged, it only made a thud on the floor. Minho jolted uneasily and was about to pull away when Taemin's pressed his lips over his and kissed him passionately. He could only think about how brilliantly wonderful Taemin felt so close to him.
"Damn it, Tae," Minho sneered sexily against Taemin's mouth. Taemin just smirked and pulled away, wiping his mouth and staring straight into Minho's eyes.
"I didn't know you had it in you," Minho joked and Taemin suddenly blushed, turning moderately shy once again.
"You're incredible," Minho said, threading his fingers through Tae's hair and down to his pale, soft cheek.
Tae pressed his cheek further into Minho's palm.
"As are you," he whispered, and the gap between their lips was sealed once again.
No hesitation, no second thoughts.
Just true love.
