It has been a few weeks since Lois and Clark got back home from their honeymoon and they have gotten a apartment in metropolis so they can be close to their work because they are both working at the daily planet. And Lois has not been feeling good she has been sick and she is taking some pregnancy test and Clark is waiting in the bedroom for her.
"Oh come on come on hurry up" Lois said to her self as she waits for the tests to be done.
A few minutes later the test are done and Lois looks at them.
"Oh my god I'm pregnant I have to tell Clark" she said
Lois goes to the bedroom and she sees Clark sitting on the bed.
"Clark I have something to tell you I'm pregnant" she said
"Your what" he said
"I'm pregnant we're going to be parents" she said
"I can't believe we are going to be parents" he said
"I know I didn't think that it was going to be possible for us to conceive but we did" she said
"Yeah we're going to have a baby honey" he said with a smile on his face
"Yeah we are so what do you want a boy or girl" she said
"All I want is for the baby to be healthy" he said
"Aww come on Clark that is so boring at least pick one" she said
"Ok I want a baby boy what about you" he said
"I want a boy too a little version of his daddy" she said
"You are so cute honey I love you" he said
"I love you too honey" she said
They kiss and then they make an appointment for the baby and then they go to the appointment because the doctor can see them today.
"I can't believe we can have our first doctors appointment today" he said
"Yeah and maybe we can hear the baby's heartbeat too" she said
"Yeah after the appointment Wanna go to the farm and tell my mom and dad" he said
"Yeah" she said
"Mrs Kent" the nurse said
"That's us let's go honey" she said
"Ok" he said
They follow the nurse and she ask Lois a few questions and if this was her first pregnancy and she said it was and then the nurse said that the doctor would come in and have a look at the baby.
"I can't wait to see our baby" he said
"Yeah our little baby that we made" she said
Then they see the doctor comes in the room.
"Hello Mr and Mrs Kent I'm doctor butler let's go ahead and look at your baby" the doctor said
"Ok" she said
The doctor tells Lois to lay back on the table and lift up her shirt and she does that and then the doctor puts gel on her stomach and starts the ultrasound.
"Ok there's your baby" the doctor said as she shows them the baby on the monitor
"That's our baby honey" Clark said
"Yeah that's our baby" she said
"It looks like you are 6 weeks pregnant and your due date is November 14" the doctor said
"I can't wait for our baby to come and it is before thanksgiving" she said
"Yeah this year we will have a baby and we are married" Clark said
"Yeah two things to be thankful for" she said
"Do you want to hear the heartbeat" the doctor said
"Yes" they both said
The doctor finds the baby's heartbeat and they hear it and then the doctor gives them pictures of the baby and they make another appointment and then they go to the car.
"So do you want to go tell my parents" Clark said
"Yeah let's go I will call my dad and see if he can meet us at your parents house so we can tell them together he should be at fort Ryan right now" she said
"Ok" he said
They go to the farm and Lois called her dad and he is going to meet them there.
