Y/n POV
"I looked everywhere and talked to so many people. Punz is gone. I talked to Bad as well and he said that Punz told him that I said only Punz needed to watch over the prison." Sam sighed as he placed down your last meal for the day.
"Well, shit. I guess it doesn't matter." You took a sip of water and Sam sat down on the edge of your bed.
You two talked for a while about what happened in the past week and discussed Quackity a bit. You asked him the obvious questions including why he was visiting so much and why he was able to bring his axe in with him. Sam's explanation was very vague and didn't really answer your questions.
You let his answers slide because at this point, you figured you would find out the truth sooner or later. As much as you did love Sam, you couldn't live like this anymore. You were in constant pain and misery. You hoped Quackity would come up with a plan that did work.
The time neared ten in the evening and Sam started to leave your cell. You were tired, but still afraid to sleep alone.
"Sam?" You asked before he unlocked the door.
"Yeah?" He turned back around to face you.
"Can you stay with me tonight?" You didn't know what Quackity had in store for tomorrow, so you wanted to make sure you were able to spend just a bit more time with Sam.
"Y/n, I have work to do. I'm sorry."
"Please?"
"Alright, but just until you fall asleep, then I have to finish some paper work." Sam smiled as you scooted over on your bed. He took off his armor and leaned the pieces up against the wall. Sam crawled into the bed then wrapped his arms around you as you rested your head on his chest.
You closed your eyes and enjoyed the time you had with Sam before you fell asleep.
You woke up to a faint buzzing sound coming from the floor. You tried to ignore it, but it wouldn't stop. Sam tighten his grip around you as you rolled over toward the sound.
"Sam." You rubbed your eye and sat up. Sam mumbled something and put his arm over his face. The buzzing sound continued. You climbed over Sam and picked up his phone off of the floor.
"Sam, it's Quackity." Your heart began to race after you remembered Quackity's visit yesterday.
"Shit, I guess I fell asleep last night." Sam laughed in a low, rough voice. He got out of bed and put his armor back on.
"I'm glad you did." You got on your tippy toes and kissed him. Sam put his hands on your sides and kissed back. After a few moments, you pulled away and handed him his phone.
"Quackity has been calling." You tried to smile, but you were too nervous for the day.
"I know. I'm going to go let him in." Sam gave you one last kiss and then locked the cell door behind him. You put your boots on and tied the laces tight. You waited patiently for the two men to walk by your cell to go to the Box, but they never did.
After what felt like half an hour, there was a loud crash that shook the walls throughout the area you were in. It sounded like it came from the roof. You looked out into the hallway and didn't see anything or anyone.
"Sam?" You shouted, but got no response. "Sam!"
A moment later, you heard Quackity shouting your name from down the hallway. You stood at the door of your cell as he ran to you.
"Y/n, let's go! Let's go!" Quackity fumbled with a set of keys and unlocked your cell door. You ran behind him as an alarm began to sound throughout the prison.
"Where did you get those?" You asked as Quackity scanned the keycard to the door at the end of the hallway.
"Doesn't matter, run!" Quackity began sprinting down the hallway and you followed.
The two of you ran down hallways, different doors, twists, and turns. Quackity had a key for every door you went through. You kept asking him where he got the key chain, but he wouldn't tell you.
"Where is Sam?" You called while running down a very dark, long hallway.
"I don't know, why do you care?" He snapped back as he sped up.
The further you ran, the more excited and scared you felt for what you were doing. You had confidence in Quackity that he knew what he was doing and that you would be free, but the memory about the last time you tried to escape stopped you dead in your tracks.
"Through here!" Quackity unlocked one last door and pushed it open. The heavy door led to the main prison area where you first enter the prison. The nether portal wall was already lit.
"What are you doing?" Quackity asked as you were frozen in place. "Come on!"
You slowly took a step forward and the two of you headed for the portal.
"Hey!" A voice screamed just as you were about to step into the purple wall. You and Quackity both were startled and turned around. Sam stood in the doorway breathing heavily while gripping his trident.
"Y/n, let's go!" Quackity began to pull you into the exit.
"Wait!" Sam shouted and quickly made his way over to you. You frozen in your spot once more. Quackity was still yelling at you to move and get in the portal.
Sam took off his crown and gently set it on your head. He leaned down and gave you one last soft kiss on the lips.
"If I ever see you again, I'll kill you." Sam whispered as a tear slid down his face. Before you could say anything, Quackity grabbed your hand and pulled you into the nether portal.
Warm tears ran down your face as you adjusted Sam's crown on your head.
Sam's imagine blurred as you finally left the prison.
