His blurry eyes slowly fluttered open to be greeted with a still hazy vision. With cramps running through everywhere, he tried to gain control of his body. Muscles in his hands twitched as he brought them up to rub his drowsy, numb eyes. He pulls his hair back, away from his eyes, and takes a deep breath just as a voice speaks up from behind him.

"I best believe you are aware of what you and your little friends have gotten yourself into-" He heard a very familiar voice start as he sits up to register and recognize that the voice belonged to no other man than his own father.

It was as if he felt his blood run cold as his head quickly turned to face the man standing behind him. The shock on his own face betrayed his attempts at keeping composed at the realization that his own father had kidnapped him.

"You could've just called me" Vinnie rubs his forehead to try and soothe his throbbing headache. He gives up as the headache only seems to progressively grow worst with the slightest touch along with the countless jumbled thoughts racing through his mind. He chooses to just rest his head on the palms of his hands as he mentally prepares himself as best he can for the talk he knew he was bound to get from his dad.

"What seemingly could be an easy task...Such as reaching out to my own son for a talk that lasts just minutes couldn't be more impossible for me and it appears that I need to do far more than expected for it-" He pauses and starts taking the few steps needed to be closer to the bed Vinnie sat on, "Because apparently my son isn't able to answer his father nor his mother's calls for months at a time." He stopped in his tracks with his hands behind his back and looks at Vinnie's unfazed expression.

"Where is she?" Vinnie blurts out, ignoring everything his father just scolded him for. "Where is Tiffany?" He asked as he stretched his tingling arms, taking in a deep breath.

"Your friend is doing nothing but fine-" He answered, "But she's not the one you should be worrying about right now son." He smiled as his son looked up to catch his glare on him.

"I'm having trouble understanding you right now?" He questioned, tilting and scratching the back of his head in attempts to try and count the number of bodyguards standing behind his father.

"I need you to do something for me." His father answered, making his way towards a table not far away from them. Standing in front of it, he stares at the computer sitting on top of the table as his smile grows wider by his son's lack of speech.

After a few uneasy moments, Vinnie grips his hands on the edge of the bed for more control and leans forward, giving his father another look, "What do you need?" He grumbles with annoyance, just wanting to get this whole dilemma over with.

"There is a certain drug," he pauses "that you and your little nosy friends have crossed paths with." He motioned for one of the men behind him to walk towards him, slowly bringing his gaze back to his son's direction with an unsettling smile, "The drug that you all call The Frog." His unsettling smile widened as one of his eyebrows twitched in anticipation, watching a still unbothered Vinnie.

"I want you to find it; Find all of it, and bring it to me." He ordered Vinnie with a troubled seriousness, slipping his right hand into the right pocket of his dress pants.

Vinnie gazed at his father with confusion in his eyes, not being able to process what he was being asked to do. This task was something he knew his father could've easily given to anyone else; He couldn't even begin to count how many business partners his father has had in the past that could take care of this so easily...So why him?

"I have to say that unfortunately, I am not interested in this task at all-" he started simply with a shrug of his shoulders. "-I don't want to get my hands dirty with this kind of work...I have a lot going on for me at the moment, which is why I'm too busy for this assignment." Vinnie finishes as he stands up from the bed only to look up and see the bodyguards step closer all around him, blocking his way out. He watched them with confusion before turning his head to face his father.

"It's alright gentlemen." He comforts with his smile never leaving his lips, patting the chest of the nearest body guard to him with his free hand. "Sit down Vinnie...You are the son of this family. You are the result of my hard work and patience." His smile vanished instantly just as fast as it came, "My son never leaves the room when I am not done speaking to him yet." His father sends him a robust glare as he takes his hand out of his pocket, connecting both behind his back once again.

"You will not be doing this alone." He swallowed before continuing again, "As a matter of fact, you will simply help a friend complete her task...She will do most of the work as you, my son, will accompany her during this task."

"Father I understand-" Vinnie replied annoyed, "But why can't someone else do this dirty work for you?" He questioned, not even the least bit curious as to who this mystery girl was.

His father let out a deep laugh as he nodded his head, "No one." He answered making everyone confused, "No one can complete this mission other than you and her, as a team." His father smiled again, "The girl isn't allowed even the slightest scratch on her. She is not to be harmed in any way" he demanded. "And neither can my son. I am sure that no matter how much hatred there is, you will bring her to me alive and with the drug as soon as possible."

"Tiffany?" Vinnie questioned, confused on why his best friend's name was only brought up in pronoun form. "What if Tiffany herself does not agree to be a part of this mission?"

"I'm afraid this lady is not Vanzetti's daughter." His father replied.

"No?" He questioned again, "Then where is she?" He asked again, scratching the nape of his neck in unease about Tiffany's whereabouts.

"Like I said, Vanzetti's daughter is not the one to worry about right now son." His father answered, "Don't you want to know who you will be accomplishing this journey with?" His father asked with a cock of his eyebrow.

Vinnie felt his heartbeat increase as he began to question if the girl his father was talking about this whole time could be-

"Elina." His father's evil grin grew as he watched his son quite literally freeze, "Elina Jones." He continued with copious amounts of joy, indulging in how much those two words had an effect on Vinnie.

Vinnie snapped his head towards the computer on the table besides them with wide eyes as it suddenly turned on to show the tied up girl with her muffled screams as she frantically scanned the room in fear, not taking notice in the hidden camera and secret eyes watching from afar.

"And if you walk away from this task, she dies."
