Chapter 12 (The Fast and the brutal)

After coming across the room 999 and the little girl were teleported in The large room that appeared to be some sort of guest room in case for someone who was welcomed.

"W-where are we" she asked nervously, 999 hops around the room to see if there was anything else gonna be strange that might appear from thin air. A large demonic scream was heard and the girl cowers behind a drawer as 999 also shields her in case it found them. The sound of the demon came closer as it's figure can be seen across the door being merged with it's shadow. 

"HAHAHAHAHA! This is so much fun!" an Arrogant voice rung out as it was so fast that neither 999 or the girl witnessed what it was.

 But the person managed to decapitate the head as it crumbles to dust. 

The hallway sounded clear and the girl and tickle monster look corner and corner to find that both the demon and the mysterious savor was out of sight. 

"Is it- gone?" 999 jumps up twice and continues it's pathway around  the house where a brief split hallway was introduced either going left or right. 999 goes right and the girl follows behind making her whimper into a slight calm feeling. After their continuous walk they find another short room where zenitsu who appeared to be sleeping was wielding his blade and with a loud slash there came a seizing cry . They both enter to find the demon he took on was fading as he opens his eyes.

"What did we won?" he turns over to the brother and with a cheery but crying look he sobs and shields around him. "You saved us, thank you so much! ehehehe!" he praised as the brother looked confused but spotting the girl and 999 he was merry and with a slight sad face he embraced her sister with open arms. 

999 moves inside and gives a happy chirp as it was smiling with a child look of innocence, it marks over to zenitsu and clings onto his side. With wide eyes he couldn't withstand the dangers the house had anymore and with that he clings onto the tickle monster tightly but not gently.

"Oh 999 it was so scary, i thought i was gonna die but he saved us. I don't wanna see what you are again!" He sobs onto the orange pet as it hugs as well  giving a sense of closure. 

The boy and girl smile as they found each other again but the mission was not yet finished. Suddenly loud rumbles can be seen when the whole house shook causing everyone to be aware of what was happening on the outside. Tanjiro felt the quake as the demon wobbles back in a step. 

"What was that?" Tanjiro thought in his mind focused on his total concentration . 

Was it an earthquake? Was it just another demon blood art? 

The roof above became ripped as someone was sent  flying downwards causing pieces of wood, dust and bits of rubble to appear like a crater. Elign coughs as he slowly stood up from the cloud as he jumps up into the sunlight from the hole as he shouts angrily as there was sounds of roaring and claws snapping alongside what also was faint were bite sounds. What was aware was that from the drop and being entered there was a small puddle of blood and on the wood frame above the hole.  

Tanjiro was visibly worried as he had to stop the demon but with two- no three things on his mind: save, fight and protect. 

He makes a motion as his blade began to swift with water as he spins it around. "Total concentration, first form, surface slash!" He cuts the head off the demon as the head fell closely to the sunlight.

"you think, my demon art was......good?" 

"yes i did, but i can't forgive you for killing people." 

A cat appeared and appears that this was tamay's cat where he promised to find blood samples. He uses the syringe and throws it onto the demon's body as it automatically fills up with blood.  He offers it to the cat and it walks away.
