Chapter V: Recovery

*Kurome's  POV, 1 week later*

I opened my eyes slowly as I looked around. I was in infirmary. I wanted to stand up but something was in my way to do so... I looked at my legs only to see Wave lying on them sleeping... not only that but the rest of my teammates were in my room... sitting and sleeping on chairs... the doors suddenly opened revealing Y/N holding a mug of something... he took a sip and looked at me... when he saw me awake he gulped the liquid down, rushed to me, and hugged me tightly.

You: "Kurome! You're awake..."

Kurome: "Of course I am silly."

You: "You were unconscious for a week..."

Kurome: "Is that so?"

You: "Yes. GUYS!!" He woke my teammates up. When they saw me one by one they hugged me. The last one was Wave who planted his lips on mine... after a while he separated...

Seryu: "Awkward..."

You: "Nah... I know about that."

Kurome: "You told him?"

Wave: "Yes..."

You: "You should see them... they were here all the time... especially Wave..."

Seryu: "Don't act like you weren't the same."

You: "I didn't say that... yes I was the same first because I was worried and second because I had nothing to do."

Kurome: "That's really nice of you guys... thank you."

Wave: "Oh I almost forgot.... I'll be back in a second." He left...

Kurome: "Guys... could you leave please... I want to talk to Y/N in private... and no eavesdropping!"

Neo nodded and took Seryu by the back of her t-shirt's collar... she dragged her outside...

You: "So?"

Kurome: "Has the festival started yet?"

You: "Yes it did... but only today."

Kurome: "That's a relieve... anyways how far did we get in that arena?"

You: "Final wave, we killed only the alpha beowolf though..."

Kurome: "There's no way beating that wave..."

You: "That's not true... we're getting better with each try... if I remember correctly last time we didn't even kill the beowolf."

Kurome: "Still.... I trained so hard before so when we'll challenge that again we can beat it... I'm disappointed in myself." He grabbed my hands suddenly.

You: "Don't say that Kurome.... I was training too but it seems that Ozpin made that difficulty's final wave impossible to beat..."

Kurome: "But still..."

You: "Kurome... for a first year you fight like a fouth year... you shouldn't be disappointed... you should be proud of yourself... I am proud of you.... sis." We never call each other like that... is he... really proud of me? "You know... if it weren't for you I'd be brobably dead by now... because of the Schnee... so eh... that's one of things I'm happy about... I'm happy I can call you my sister... though unrelated..." He kissed me on my forehead all of a sudden... then he pulled away and right after that the doors opened revealing Wave holding something behind his back...

Wave: "I'm here..."

Seryu: "Sorry we didn't notice him arriving."

You: "It's okay we finished anyways..." We didn't but we can talk some other time.
