After the tea party had ended, the Earthens desperately wanted to leave and almost all were gone by dinner. Their frantic departure had gone unnoticed by Celeste who had shut herself in her room all evening, refusing to come out even when Hale came to her door. She laid on her bed with tear-stained pillows, lightly stroking Star while he tenderly nuzzled her hand. The scintillating lights above her were wrapped around the tresses of her white canopy bed. Star, often batted at the string lights, occasionally ripping them from their post. Recognizing Celeste's unstable state, the kitten curled up against the girl, seeming to be on his best behaviour.

"I tried so hard to make them like us but maybe it's just not meant to be Star," she sobbed, "I don't know what's happening to me anymore. I used to be fine but now I have moments where I can't control myself and I act absurdly. I also feel hysterical constantly, I'm tired of feeling this way and having people look at me weird when I act out. I'm also tired of trying to hide this way I'm feeling. "How do you run from what is inside your head?" The Cheshire Cat knows how I feel, maybe it's best not to run from my mind but to run with it." Deciding something for herself, Celeste rose from her bed and grabbed the bottle of blue pills for her Interstellar Sickness sitting on her bedside table. Walking slowly to the balcony, as if in a trance, she yelled. "I'm not going to hide this feeling anymore!" She let out a hysterical laugh and whipped the bottle into the open air. Smiling as the pills spilled out over the bright lights coming from the valley below. That may have been a mistake but what can I say, sentence first... Verdict afterwards!
