・3rd person pov・

Y/n used one of the many keys that were dangling from her checkered lanyard to undo the lock on the gate while Joshua stands back and waits, patiently.

She opens the gate wide, guestering for Joshua to go in.

As he walks in, eyes blown wide, mouth slightly hanging open, and mind blank all from amusement.

Y/n follows from behind as Joshua continues to walk around the designated park.

'Uh does he like it or...? ' y/n questions herself.

"Woah, just woah. This is so cool." Joshua said in amazement as y/n let out a sigh of relief. "Oh well I'm glad you like it." she replies.

Joshua walks over to the wall with the pictures hanging while y/n just looks up to the wonderful dusk sky.

"Awww little y/n looks so cutee" said Joshua, dragging out the 'e'. "H-huh?" said the girl embarrassed and confused.

Joshua chuckles, seeing the younger snap her head down from the scene above and look at him with like pink painted lightly across her cheeks.

"I mean, awwwe little y/n looks so cute in her little pink dress" he said empesizing the words 'pink dress'.

"W-when did that happen" y/n said rushing to where Josh was standing. Joshua points to the picture where y/n is wearing a light pink dress with the same shade converse and two little pigtails in her hair.

"Jeez," she said annoyed "you can't make fun of me for that, I was like 3 and had no choice of what my parents put on me." she scoffed as Joshua continued to laugh at her attempted explanation/defense.

"I know but you haven't changed so it just looks weird, seeing you in pink." he said chuckling once more.

"I do not look the same" y/n, again, defends. "Yea you do like- look same chubby cheeks, same face shape, same extremely curly hair, and look you even have the same bracelet on your wrist." he says squishing her cheeks, running his fingers in her hair and even grabbing her wrist. Every move he made caused the butterflies in her stomach, grow.

"Ah uh yea I've had this thing since I was born" she answers pulling her wrist back and playing with the bracelet.

"Yea I know. I also know that you tend to play with it when you get anxious or nervous." he says cocking an eyebrow and slightly smirking, once again, causing butterflies to erupt in y/ns stomach.

"Tch pfft no, I just uh-" y/n walked closer and pushed her pointer finger on his chest, catching him off guard and making him blush. "Tag, your it" should said backing up and running behind a big black slide that had white paint splatters all over it.

Josh was standing there, processing what the hell just happened. Once he realized she was just playing he started running in the direction she ran in. She saw him running toward her so she climbed up the slide and onto the setup.

He looked above him to see her running down the stairs and to the rock wall. He smiled to himself and sneakily made his way to the other side of the rock wall.

By the time y/n got to the rock wall she was breathless. 'Jeez running from this boy is exhausting but fun.' she thought to herself.

Her plan was to climb up and over the rock wall but to her surprise, Joshua was on the side, waiting for him prey so he could pounce.

When she climbed over she jumped down and when she turned there he was, "tag, your it" he said then he ran right past her.

'Oh you sly mothe-' she thought then ran after him, smiling brightly.
