~eight~

when they got to the other side, jangmi saw a huge tree. light, baby pink flowers blanketed the tree like a light layer of snow.

the couple continued walking toward the big tree. under the the blossom tree was a nicely placed, plad, white and grey blanket. sitting beside the blanket was a small silver tin bucket with a bottle of wine.

atop the blanket, there sat two wine glasses. they could hear violins starting to play in the distance.

jangmi and mingyu were standing under the tree, both looking up into the sky through the thin tree branches as small blossom flowers slowly fell from the tree.

mingyu gestured for jangmi's to sit on the blanket, causing her to snap out of her trance and do so. mingyu did the same and grabbed the tin with the wine in it and handed jangmi a wine glass. mingyu opened the wine and poured jangmi just a little. he took a glass of his own and did the same.

jangmi took a sip then continued to look back up and admire how the stars scattered across the sky oh so beautifully.

mingyu stole a quick glance at jangmi before proceeding to do the same.

🌹-i used to do this all the time with y/n when we were little.

✨- what? go on asthetic dates?

🌹- oh my lord no. *chuckles* we would climb on the roof of my loft and look up at the stars. but that we stoped doing that almost three years ago.

✨- oh, well if you don't mind me asking.....

🌹- shoot your shot.

✨- why'd you stop?

🌹- oh, i don't mind at all but it's not my story to tell. some stuff happened to y/n. that why she is the way she is now. she may seem cold and yes, i will not deny that she can be cold but she can be very funny and calm once you get on her good side. but once your on her bad side, it takes a while to even get back on her maybe side.

✨- u-umm a-am i *points to self* on her bad side?

🌹- i don't think so but even if you are, i'll make sure you don't stay there for long. *smiles widely*

the two stayed in silence. the silence was comfortable. it wasn't a tense or akward silence. they both just sat, looking up in the sky, staring at the stars, taking sips from their drinks.

mingyu checked the time on his wrist watch. 'it's almost time for y/n to pick jangmi up' mingyu thought to himself.

'i can't wait to get back to the hotel and tell y/n about everything that happened tonight. ugh if i tell her i didn't even TRY to make a move i'm gonna get scolded. ughhh.' jangmi was mentally fighting with herself on wheather she should make the first move. little did she know, mingyu was doing the same.

mingyu had a plan. hopefully it would work out because he really liked jangmi. he wanted to call her his. he wanted to make sure she was safe and she had everything she wanted.

mingyu stood up, (again) sticking his hand out for jangmi to grab onto. they both stood up and started walking toward the bridge.

once they were standing on the bridge mingyu slightly turned so the both of them were facing the stream of water. jangmi slightly walked up, letting go of mingyus arm.

she looked down to get a better look at the almost glowing water along with the beautiful fish. mingyu joined after a minute or two.

mingyu gently grabbed jangmi's hand causing her to turn and look at him. mingyu cupped one of her cheeks with his free hand and rubbed circles on it. jangmi on the other hand was about to faint but she didn't want to because she knew what was going to happen next and she wanted to be conscious.

jangmi slightly leaned forward showing mingyu that it was ok. mingyu wasted no time leaning in even more causing the little space between them to be gone in seconds. jangmi closed her eyes, feeling mingyus soft pink lips on hers.
