I decided to buy few gifts too.

Jason drove us back home. He helped me carry the bags.

" Hey there " I turned around to find Filly, I let out a smile acknowledging his presence.

" My man Jason come here " Filly called.

My little brother has made friends.

That's nice.

I take the bags from him and walk towards my apartment to keep them there.

I was startled when a voice said
"I'm sorry " I dropped one of the bags.

It was Felix but what was he apologizing for

" About Simon " and realisation hits me and I say " It's okay, you don't have to be sorry "

I see him, looking at the ground and I follow his gaze. Out of all the bags the lingerie bag decided to drop.

His eyes were wide. I placed the rest if the bags down, stuffing the lingeries back.

" Wow " he says and for some reason I blush, he comes near me helping me put a few back inside.

I cannot help but notice how close we both are with each other, I can feel his breath fanning my face, I am feeling a lot of things by our proximity. He smells refreshing

" I mean those colours would compliment you like dang more like you would compliment them" he says as we both stand up.

I open the door and he helps me with few bags.

" Thank you for accompanying Jason " I say as I fill a jar with water to drink.

He sees the PS5 on the table.

" Jason said that you play PS5 very well. Is that true?" He questions.

" Try me " I smirk as I drink water.

I walk towards him with a bag that I bought.

" Here " I say as I pass the bag which had a box.

He looks at me confused but nevertheless he opens the bag and unboxes to find a fresh pair of Jordans.

" Bro these are sick " he exclaims.

" Glad you liked it " I sat as I walk towards him.

He surprises me pulling me to a hug, slyly his cologne enters my nostrils and I let out a smile without realising.

We stood like that " Like is not the word Loren Love is " he says as his chest vibrates since he was speaking and we were hugging.

We break the hug and he says "Come home let's all play? "

I nod

" Give me a minute I'll change to something comfy " I say walking towards the room and grab shorts and a long shirt and wear a sweatshirt over it.

I change myself to that and pull my hair back to a messy bun. I don't know but I felt like wearing socks and I did.

I paired it with my flip flops.

I grabbed the bags with me,  I brought few things for his friends too.

For a fact I know few from the party.

" What are these?" He asks me.

" I brought few gifts for Filly and others " I explain.

" Wow that's so sweet of you " he was happy but I could tell he was a bit sad too.

I did not bother to ask why though.

" The cookies were nice " he initiates the conversation.

" I'll make more next time then?" I say while he opens his house door.

His friends were sitting on the couch and we're busy playing.

" Filly " I say and go give him what I bought.

He looks at me as if I was possessed.

" Come on open it " I encourage him sitting beside.

He looks at me suspiciously before opening and finally he does.

It was a watch.

" Thank you mate " he says as he reaches me to give a fist bump which I accept.

I gave the rest of the gifts to others.

I learnt their names which were  Davon, Vik, Jorge they thanked me too.

Davon was a cool guy, Vik was smart and Jorge was nice guy.

And there's Simon.

The boys went back to playing.

I noticed Simon looking at me guiltily.

I let out a smile to let him know it was fine.

He notices the seat beside me and gets up to come sit here.

But before he could, Felix reaches near me and  sits dangerously close to me.

I was too involved in the game.

It was now between all of them and even Jason.

Just before the game was about to start Jason phone rings and he talks.

" I'll get going, I need to be somewhere " he said and  I give him a hug before he goes.

" Come once in awhile " I say before he leaves.

" Yeah for the boys " he says and everyone boo encouraging him.

I look at him astounded.

I smack his arm before he leaves and he says an ouch.

Yeah you deserve it.

Boys my ass .
