Saakk after marriage

Chapter 8

Anokhi's last exam also got over yesterday.  Shaurya has also been very busy through out the week to prepare for the conference. His conference is beginning from today. Shaurya Yash and Shaan leave early for the college.  Anokhi has holidays for few weeks before the next semester begins.

After all morning chores are complete -

Anokhi to Aastha - Ma main aaj kuchh der mummy papa ke paas jaakar aaun. Shaurya bi late aayenge aur main bi free hun.

Aastha - haan beta jarur. Ghar par waise bi bore ho jaaogi din bhar. Jaao ghoom kar aao.

Anokhi reaches her mom's place. Everyone get very happy seeing her.  Once they start with their chit chats... it becomes a never ending affair.  Babli and anokhi are having never ending sister talks.

In the evening when anokhi is planning to leave...babli starts requesting her..

Babli - nikki tu aaj yahin ruk ja na. Kitni saari bateein abi aur karni hai tujhse.

Mummyji and papaji also start requesting her to stay back.

Anokhi - nai babli di...main raat me rukungi ye nai bolkar aayi hun. Main bas ab chalti hun. Main fir kisi din aa jaaungi.

Babli - kta hua bolkar nai aayi hai to. Main abi shaurya ko phone karti hun.

Anokhi - nai di unki bohot important meeting hai..unko disturb nai kar sakti..unko to ye bataane ke liye bi maine phn nai kiya ki main yahan aa rai hun.

Babli - achha to main aastha aunty se pooch leti hun.

Saying this she calls aastha and puts her on speaker.

Babli - namaste aunty. Main babli bol rai hun. Dekhiye na hum nikki ko aaj yahan rukne ko keh rahe hain..aur ye keh rai ki permission nai leke aayi hai.

Aastha - arre isme permission kyon chahiye. Aaram se ruk sakti hai wo wahan. Koi problem nai hai.

Babli - ab to rukegi na tu yahan.

Anokhi - achha thik hai ma. Main yahan ruk jaati hun. Aap shaurya ko bata dena. Abi wo conference me busy honge to maine call nai kia.

Aastha - haan thik hai main usko bata dungi.

Babli disconnects the call and does a happy dance.  Anokhi is also happy to stay there... but she is also sad for not being with shaurya.

She takes out her phone and messages shaurya about she gets free from all work at around 10 pm. He takes out his phone to check but finds that the battery has died and the phone has got switched off.

The sabarwals pack up and leave for home. On his way shaurya is missing anokhi. He was feeling so tired and just wanted to hug anokhi tight and sleep with her. 

When they reach home...aastha and kanchan ask everyone to freshen up and come for dinner.  Shaurya's eyes are searching for anokhi. Aastha and kanchan notice this and they have a quick laugh over it.

Aastha - anokhi ghar pe nai hai.wo aaj apni mummy ke yahan rahegi.

Shaurya - ye plan kab bana.

Aastha - wo gai to din bhar ke liye thi but fir wahan sabka bohot mann tha ki wo raat ko unke saath thoda aur time spend kare.

Shaurya gets very upset hearing this.

Shaurya - Ma mujhe kuchh khaas  bhook nai hai. Conference me thoda khaa liya tha. Main sone jaa raha hun. Good night.

Aastha thinks of stopping him and asking him to have some food... but he is already gone to his room.

Shaurya comes to his room and puts his phone on charge.  He reads anokhi's message but is too upset with her to call her. He just quickly changes and goes to sleep all the while desperately missing anokhi.

Anokhi is also waiting for his call. When it is almost 11, she calls aastha to ask if shaurya hasnt come yet. Astha informs her that he came some time back but was very tired and that he slept without having dinner.

Anokhi was somewhere worried that something like this would happen.  She knew shaurya would be upset. She tries calling shaurya but he disconnects the call. Anokhi sends him messages but he does not reply to any of her messages.

She is almost on the verge of crying when babli comes and starts her usual chit chat. Anokhi does not mention about shaurya being upset because that would spoil everyone's mood.

Next day in the morning too anokhi calls shaurya but with no response.  She calls aastha and she informs that shaurya left very early in the morning.

Anokhi decides to quickly go back to sabarwal house and talk to shaurya.

Anokhi reaches her house in the afternoon and waits for shaurya. She prepares some of his favorite things for dinner as she is sad that because of her shaurya din't have dinner yesterday.

On his way back home shaurya is thinking in his heart - i hope she is back home.  Agar aaj bi wahan hogi to jaakar utha kar le aaunga. Fir jisko jo samajhna hai samjhe. Besharam. Utaawala. I don't care.

When he reaches home he is relieved to find her with aastha. But he still doesn't talk to her and straightaway heads to his room. Anokhi follows him to the room.

She notices his angry face and stands in front of him catching her ears. But he does not give any reply to her.

Anokhi - shaurya i am sorry.

Shaurya - but kis baat ke liye.

Anokhi - main kal mummy ke ghar thi..aapke paas nai..

Shaurya - oh!! Wow...to tumko is baat ka realization tha..fir bi u did not come.. wow.. that means you don't care..ki koi poore raaste bas yahi sochte hue aa raha hoga ki bas ek baar anokhi ko dekh lunga usko hug kar lunga to saari thakaan chali jaayegi... and ghar aake usko pata chale ki madam to hain hi nai...

Anokhi - ye kaisi baat kar rahe aap. Of course i care.  But sabne zid ki to main mana nai kar paayi. I m sorry PS.

Saying this she puts her arms around him.

Shaurya - ye cheating hai..main itna gussa tha... socha tha bohot jhagda karunga tumse. Boxing gloves pehenke pitaayi karunga tumhari...mujhe akela chhor ke jaane ke liye. But tumko dekhke sab gussa chala gaya.

Anokhi i am so dependant on you yaar...i can't function without you.  Dekho aaj agreement kar lete hain. Tumhe din bhar jahan jana hai jaao. Jisse milna hai milo. But jab main ghar pe hun, tum hamesha meri aankhon ke saamne raho. Aur chalo ab utthak baithak karo.

Anokhi - hain??

Shaurya - hain kya..maan gaya main iska matlab ye thodi ki punishment nai milegi. I am a teacher.. punishment dena to banta hai naughty students ko...

They continue with their cute banter after dinner and then go to sleep as shaurya still has 1 day of conference left.
