Chapter 11

Shaurya and anokhi reach home. 

Aastha - (hugs her) How are you feeling now beta. You should have been careful about her health.  All of us got so scared and worried.  But ab tumhari koi manmaani nai chalegi... time pe khaana time pe medicines...

Anokhi - yes ma..i promise i will take care.

Aastha - shaurya take her to the room. Jo tumne kaha tha waise hi dinner banwa diya hai maine. Tumlog fresh ho jaao..main room me hi dinner bhijwa dungi.

Shaurya helps her till the room. He makes her comfortable on the bed.

Shaurya - tum 5 mins rest karo itne main change kar leta hun. For tum fresh ho jaana...tell me what you will wear i will keep that ready.

Anokhi - shaurya...ek baar mere paas baitho na plz...i want to talk to you.

Shaurya - haan baat kar lenge...i m little tired so i will freshen up a little.

Anokhi - car me bi i tried talking to you... but you were avoiding me...abi bi you are..

Shaurya - cutting her in between her scentence... he snapped...Anokhi baat karna jaruri hota hai kya husband wife ka...i don't think so...kal tak lagta tha mujhe bi ki humen har baat share karni chahiye ek doosre se..u know like i felt ki tumhe mere baare me mujhse bi jyada pata hona chahiye and mujhe tumhare baare me..but i was stupid..i was expecting too much....but from today i don't think we need to talk or discuss anything with each other...main tumhara dhyaan rakhunga..tumhari studies ka bi and tum mera dhyaan rakho.. and of course very important...mere kaam ka..usme koi problem nai honi chahiye...wo to sabse jyada important hai. Isse jyada koi jarurat nai hoti hai husband wife ke beech me...bas caretaker hi to banna hai...i am sorry thodi der se samajh aaya mujhe...but now i have full clarity...

Saying this he went inside the washroom.

Anokhi had tears in her eyes.... she knew shaurya would be angry..but she had no idea ki wo gussa itna jyada hoga. She was repenting her decision of hiding everything from shaurya. She just did not know how to make up for her mistake.

While she was engrossed in her thoughts...shaurya came out of the washroom...he came to her and spoke normally..as if nothing happened just 5 minutes back.

Shaurya - come i will help you get up. Go and freshen up. And tell me what will you wear.

Anokhi was staring at him.. but he did not look at her...he did not make any eye contact. He just offered his hand to her to help her get up. Anokhi held his hand tight.. she was trying to convey her feelings to him through her touch... as if telling him that she was sorry and that she needed him.

Shaurya helped her till washroom... since she dint tell him anything...he himself took out a night suit for her and gave it to her to change.  By the time anokhi came out..aastha too came to their room with food.

Shaurya gave the medicines to aastha and explained to her...

Shaurya - ma..this is to be taken before dinner and this after dinner. Aap yahan rukiye and make sure she has dinner and medicines.  Main thodi der me aata hun.

Shaurya left and anokhi just kept looking at him with teary eyes. Aastha saw all this and sensed the tension between them.

She put her hand on anokhi's head and asked kya hua anokhi...

Anokhi hugged her and started crying.

Anokhi - ma shaurya is very angry with me..he is not talking to me...i m so sorry..mujhe shaurya se kuchh chhupaana nai chahiye tha...but ma sach me mujhe nai pata tha ki sab itna serious ho jaayega..mujhe laga tha normal food poisoning hai... ek din ki baat hai... after all his work is done i will tell him. Shaurya ko itna hurt karne ka mera intension nai tha...ma what do i do.. how do i explain it to him...shaurya mujhse baat hi nai kar rahe.

Aastha - stop crying.  Suno..itni tension mat lo.. give him some time... don't expect ki wo 1 din me maan jaayega..thoda time do..he will be fine...uska gussa shant ho jaayega. And tum medicine lo.. and fir apna dinner finish karo. Tumko theek hote hue dekhega to wo bi normal ho jaayega. Samajh me aaya. Chalo ab rona band karo and khaana khaao warna main bi gussa ho jaaungi.

Aastha tried cheering her up and made her finish the dinner.  She thought of talking to shaurya but she wasnt sure if that would help.
