Chapter 14

The next morning is rather a gloomy one. Kanchan is in kitchen, when she notices shaurya walking towards her. Her heart skips a beat. In her thoughts she says to herself..

Kanchan - shaurya bhaiya!! Oh!! He must be mad at me.  Kya bolungi main unko.

Shaurya - (breaking her chain of thoughts).. kanchan..mujhe tumse kuchh baat karni hai..

Kanchan - shaurya bhaiya i am sorry...mujhe bohot bura lag raha hai.. but it was an accident.

Shaurya - shut up kanchan. Tum kya samajhti ho mujhe. Kya is ghar me koi nai jo mujhe samajhta hai. Na anokhi na tum.

Kanchan - aap kya bol rahe hain.. main kuchh samjhi nai..

Shaurya - tumne anokhi se kyon kaha ki wo mujhe kuchh na bataaye. Kyon tumhe aisa laga ki main tumpe gussa karunga. kya tum anokhi ki dushman ho. Kya mujhe nai pata ki tum jaan kar kabi aisa koi kaam nai karogi jisse usse takleef ho. Haan main anokhi se bohot pyar karta hun. Usko takleef me dekhkar mujhe dard hota.. par kya tum meri kuchh nai lagti..

Kanchan - shaurya bhaiya.. wo mujhe laga..

Shaurya - kuchh mat kaho kanchan.. kal sirf anokhi ne nai... tumne bi mujhe bohot hurt kiya hai.

Kanchan was in tears. She felt guilty for misunderstanding shaurya. His anger also had so much of love. She felt overwhelmed at how much he loved anokhi and his family. But before she could say anything shaurya left from there. He left for college without meeting anyone else and without having breakfast.  He wanted to spend some time alone.

As anokhi could not sleep the whole night,  she woke up a little late. She dint find shaurya in the room.  She went downstairs and got to know that he left without having his breakfast.

She called him up.. but she knew she would not get any response.

She sat in living room with a sad face.. when kanchan and aastha came there.

Kanchan - i am sorry anokhi. Mere darr ki wajah se maine bhi shaurya bhaiya ko hurt kia and wo tumse bi naraaz ho gaye. She told her and aastha all about her conversation with shaurya.

Anokhi and aastha felt strongly for shaurya. What did they do to him... they hurt the person who held so much of love for them.

Anokhi  - (unable to hold back her tears) .. main apne room me jaati hun. Saying she ran to her room. She spent the day in the room only.  She dint feel like talking to anyone.

In the evening she saw shaurya's car getting inside little earlier than usual time.

Anokhi - why is he home so early.  Is he ok..or is he unwell. I will talk to him today at any cost.  I can't let him be upset any longer... he can't be serious about what he said yesterday.  Wo to bas gusse me nikal gaya hoga..

With all her thoughts she came downstairs from her room. Aastha and shaan were also there.  She saw the driver entering the house with some documents.

Anokhi - malkeet... sir kahan hai??

Malkeet - wo ma'am.. sir aaj din me hi patiala chale gaye.. main bas unko drop karke aa raha hun. Unhone ye papers shaan sirko dene ke liye kahan hai...aur kaha hai wo kuchh din wahin rahenge..

Anokhi now just saw the driver's lips moving.. she could not hear anything.. she could not understand anything what he said after that... only shaurya's words echoed in her ears.."main tumhe kabhi husband ki tarah nai touch karunga". So shaurya was serious.. he meant what he said.. but how can he leave like this.. what am i supposed to do now...

Anokhi was about to collapse when aastha held her..

Aastha - anokhi beta sambhaalke.. malkèet thik hai tum jaao.. ye papers dedo.

Aastha made anokhi sit on the sofa. She gave her some water.

Anokhi burst out into tears.

Anokhi - maa. Main bi abi patiala jaaungi... please i can't stay here..

Aastha - beta sambhaalo apne aapko. Sab theek ho jaayega. Abi patiala nai jaa sakti tum.. tumhari tabiyat bi thik nai hai.. kaun tumhare khaane peene ka dhyaan rakehga wahan.

Shaan - beta thoda patience rakho. Shaurya ko kuchh din wahan rehne do. Main waise bi chahta tha ki tum dono ek doosre ko kuchh time do. Main kal raat bhar yahi soch raha tha ki kya karun ki sab theek ho jaaye. Aur maine kuchh socha hai..bas tum waisa karo jaisa main kehta hun.

10 din baad shaurya ka birthday hai.. tab tak usse wahin rehne do. Uske birthday ke din i promise tum dono ke beech sab theek ho jaayega.

Saying this Shaan first explains her what is causing misunderstandings between her and shaurya.

Shaan - Anokhi love, trust, understanding and respect are the four pillars of any relation. Aur tum dono apna rishta sirf ek pillar pe jamaane ki koshish kar rahe ho. Na shaurya tumhe samajh raha hai na tum usko. Abi bi tum nai samajh rai ki wo kuchh time akele rehna chahta hai..trust him ki wo tumhara hai aur tumhara hi rahega.. kuchh din tumse door bi raha to bi.

He also shares his plan with everyone and tells them to not disturb shaurya for few days.

Anokhi thinks about shaan's words. she connects the dots on where she went wrong.  She realizes how incomplete their relation has been.  She composes herself and is determined to change things for better.

Next 10 days might be difficult.  But a bright future awaits on the other side of this time.

Hi readers.. thankyou so much for your responses.  I am so glad most of you are so correct on what was lacking between shakhi. But anokhi ko kuchh kuchh samajh aa gaya hai.. and shaurya bi samajh jaayega.

I know this chapter is little heavy.  But next chapter will be more positive when things will start falling into place.
