Chapter 4• We're going to UCU

Sagittarius' P.O.V

"Don't panic, don't panic, don't panic, why are you still panicking!?!" I whisper-shouted at myself as I tried not to panic.

I clutched the letter in my hand, not believing that this was happening. My brain couldn't understand what just happened. I reread the words that were now imprinted into my brain.

Dear Sagittarius Hunter

We are delighted to inform you that you have been accepted to Universe City University.

I just couldn't believe it, I was sure I wasn't going to get in but... I did. I had actually done it.

"Hello, earth to Sagi, I repeat earth to Sagi!"

The voice snapped me out of my inner panic attack. I looked up at my sister as she stared at me as though I was crazy. Well, maybe she did think that since I was just talking to myself.

"So what did the letter say?" she asked

"I-I got in?" I stuttered

"Are you telling me or asking me?" She questioned annoyingly

"I got in!" I said excitedly

"That's awesome!!" she said as she excitedly hugged me.

"I can't wait to tell mum and dad, they're going to be so happy!" I said

"I can't believe you're going be leaving so soon!" she said as she pulled me closer.

"I'm only leaving on Monday!" I laughed

"Exactly!" she said letting go of me "So, what do you want to do now?"

"Well, I'm going to have wait till mum and dad are back from work to tell them so.... I need to tell my BFF and check if she got in!" I said quickly as I ran to go get my phone.

"How about I just drive you!" she shouted to me

"Really!" I shouted as I made my way back down the stairs.

"Sure, it's only 15 minutes away and I planning to see Caelum anyways. C'mon" She said as she grabbed her keys and walked out.

I locked the door and walked after her.

"Honestly, it's like you can't spend one day without your boyfriend. It's weird." I told her
as I shut the car door

"Pfft, I wonder if you'll still think the same thing when you find a boyfriend." she smirked

"Shut up" I said as I turned in a tomato.

She chuckled to herself as she reversed out of the driveway.

For the next 15 minutes my tone-deaf sister and I sang along to songs on the radio as we drove to my best friend's house.

Aquarius' P.O.V.

"BORED" I said as I flopped face-first onto the couch

"Where the fuck that dumbass?" I muttered to myself as I rolled over.

My brother was late and it was driving me crazy. Having a brother in the post office was supposed to have perks like getting my mail faster but instead he's 30 minutes late. It was almost as if he was doing it on purpose. Well...I wouldn't put it past him.

Wait...

I heard something something coming from outside

I listened again to see if I had heard the noise correctly

Yes, there it was, the sound of a car parking the driveway.

I jumped of the couch and ran to the door. I was so hyped for this moment! I excitedly pulled the door open expecting to find my brothers face...

"Aqua!" Said my best friend as she burst through the door

"Sagi!! What are you doing here!?!" I said as I hugged her

She pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket and shoved it in my face excitedly. I took the letter from her and began reading.

"Oh my god! You got in!!" I said.

"What about you?" she asked excitedly

"Ugh" I sighed as I remember again that my brother was late "No, that dimwit is late, again."

"Hey" scolded someone playfully from behind Sagi, "Don't talk about your brother like that!"

"Oh, hey Vega" I said as I gave a small wave to Sagi's sister

"Hi Aqua, so I guess your brother isn't here yet." She said with a slight hint of disappointment

"Yeah but don't worry , he'll be here soon... probably" I said ,trying to sound reassuring

The two walked inside and we chatted for a bit until we were interrupted by the door slamming open.

"AQUA!"

My eyes lit up in excitement as I rushed to the door.

"Caelum, where's my letter!!!" I said as I anxiously ran over to him.

"Hello to you too Aquarius, I've got your letter right here." He said as he patted his bag.

I quickly reached for the bag so I could finally  find out whether I had gotten in. It was so close....

"Hold on." Said my brother as he slapped my hand away "Before you read this letter you must hear my tale of woe that I had endured to get this letter for you."

I groaned in frustration. My brother was being a dramatic ass again.

"Okay ,so today I was out delivering mail when this weirdo kid comes up to me ,steals my bag and dumps all the mail onto the floor! Then he tries to take your letter but fortunately for you I'd managed to get it back, THEN he tries to stop me from leaving but eventually one of his friends distracts him and I manage to get away. I had managed to drive halfway up the road when I realized that the kid was following me!! He followed me for like, 10 minutes until finally I had lost him. So moral of the story, be fricking grateful that I got your letter."

Finally, he pulled the letter from his bag and handed it to me.

Dear Aquarius Berea

We are delighted to inform they you have been accepted ...

A wave of relief washed over me as my brain processed those words.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!!!!" I whispered to myself excitedly

"You got in?" Said Aqua hopefully as she saw my reaction

I nodded happily as a huge grin broke onto my face. She tackled me in a hug almost managing to knock me to the floor. I chuckled at her and hugged back. After a while she finally released me.

" I can't believe it!!" She said as she looked at me in disbelief

"Me neither!"

"We're going to UCU, Aqua! Finally all that crap paid off."

She collapsed onto the couch with a sigh of relief. I sat down next to her contemplating what's going to happen next.

We're going to UCU...

Holy shit, I can't believe that I'm finally done with this chapter. Sorry it took so long...again but I'll probably still be updating really irregularly. Well anyways now that all the signs have gotten accepted we can finally move on the story to where they meet each other. Lastly, thanks for all the reads , It's really awesome and I hope you enjoy the rest of the book.
