He gave an evil chuckle at your frightened face.

"What are you doing here?" You ask trying to sound confident and brave, but your voice betrayed you.

"I originally came for the tesseract but then I saw you and decided to stay around for a little while longer. And I must say, I am glad I did, or else I wouldn't have gotten to see your powers."

My powers, you thought to yourself as you flicked your wrist, using your Telekinesis to slam Loki into the wall. Once you were free of his grasp you bolted out the door.

Without looking behind you to see if Loki was following you ran to Clint to tell him what is happening.

"CLINT! Weneedtofullyevacuatethebuildingandweneed- "

"Woah, woah, woah, slow down Peirce. Tell me what happened, slowly."

You took a deep breath.

"Loki is here, and he stole the Tesseract, he also knows about me and some of my powers." Clint's eyes widen, he put his finger up to his earpiece.

"The Tesseract has been stolen and Loki is back, we need full evacuation."

You look over to the hallway you came from and see Loki, holding the Tesseract in his hand, and a mischievous smirk on his face. Before you could say anything to Clint, he winks at you and disappears in a cloud of green magic, along with the Tesseract. Dang it, I could have gotten him.

Your eyes start to get heavy, and you look down, noticing that you weren't wearing your ring. Oh no.

"Clint- "You couldn't finish your sentence before your eyes close engulfing you in darkness as your legs give out and you fall to the ground.

-Clint's POV-

I started to guide scientists and other agents out of the building, people were scrambling about trying to gather their equipment and saving their notes.

I just got done announcing that the Tesseract had been stolen and Loki is back. I then turn around, about to give y/n orders, but I saw her eyes droop as she started to sway.

I quickly ran over and caught her before she hits the ground. She laid in my arms and her breathing was getting back to normal, as she calmed down in her unconscious state.

"I need someone to help me get Agent Peirce onto the Quin jet, she's unconscious but does not need immediate medical attention."

As soon as I asked for help, I saw Director Fury walk into the room with Dr. Selvig by his side, explaining what is going on.

"Agent Barton, status update." Fury says looking at me.

"Agent Peirce has been compromised by Loki, currently, she has fallen unconscious from exhaustion. The Tesseract has been stolen, and there is no sign of Loki anywhere in the base." Yep, definitely getting fired.

Fury sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose in disappointment.

Shortly after, an agent comes up to me.

"Hello sir, I've come to assist." He said while helping me lift y/n up.

Me and the agent get to the Quin jet and laid y/n down on one of the benches inside.

"Thank you..." I noticed he never mentioned his name.

"Agent Cole, sir."

"Thank you, Agent Cole, get to safety." With that, Agent Cole runs off.

I look over at y/n.

"What have you gotten yourself into Peirce."

I close the jet's hatch and walk over to the flight deck and take a seat.

Once I got the jet flying, I switch it into autopilot and sat down on the bench across from y/n.

Better tell the rest of the team what happened, I thought as I dialed Steve's number.

It was currently 5:34 AM and Steve is usually the only one up at this time.

"Hello?"

"Hey Steve, we are coming back early. The mission went south, and we might need Bruce to do a check up on y/n. She passed out from, what might have been, using to much power." I explain as I watch y/n shift around in her seat.

"Alright, I'll wake him up. What is your ETA?" He asks.

"Twenty minutes."

"Okay see you then."

Once the call ended, I got up and went back to my seat and turned off autopilot.

Why did she get so drained this time? She didn't faint when she used her powers at the tower.

I carefully land the jet and open the hatch to the jet.

I try to lift y/n, but she is too heavy, Steve just stares at me and my attempts.

"Little help please." I say.

"oh yeah, right." He walks onto the jet and picks up y/n with ease.

"Pfft... show off." I mutter.

As Steve carries y/n off to the med bay, I plop myself down on the couch and sigh.

How did this happen?

Sorry for the short chapter I ran out of space in my notebook, but on the bright side I get to use a new notebook for the rest of the story YAY!! I'm on a roll this week 2 Chapters posted in just two days!!! I'd like to thank you all for 100+ reads on my book I honestly didn't think I would get so many. I need to find substitute words for "Alright" and "Okay" because it is really bothering me that every chapter has them saying "Alright" and "Okay". Anyway, pls comment and Vote! Will Loki come back?
