His Will, His Way

Chapter 12

Lorenzo's POV

Dante told me that I should try acting less aggressive towards Emma, he said that if I wanted her to like me, I should act kinder.

I wasn't really acting aggressive towards her before, because thats just how I normally act.

I wanted her to love me. Even if she didn't love me I wouldn't let her go. She was mine the moment I laid eyes on her.

When I woke up and noticed that she wasnt on the bed I panicked, but I calm down when I heard light snores coming from the couch. In that moment I wanted to make her learn her lesson, but I didn't want her to fear me. So I took a deep breath and approached the couch.

" You don't listen do you " I say trying to sound calm.

Her eyes immediately snapped open, and fear washed over her face. All my anger died down when I saw her beautiful brown eyes. She quickly apologized to me, what I said next surprised me, the words just fell out of my mouth.

I decided to take her shopping today to buy her some art supplies, because she said that she likes painting. When she got out of the shower she sat at the furthest seat for me, of course I was upset that she didn't want to sit next to me but it was also understandable, but I did not care. I told her to come sit on my lap she hesitated at first but then complied and sat down.

I made small talk with her, but it was still kind of awkward. I didn't mind though as long as she was with me. We finished eating our breakfast and headed to target to get her, her supplies.

I decided to get a couple of boardgames and pizza to have a fun time with her, wanting her to at least have fun spending time with me.

We went back to the house and I decided to put on a movie. I put on my favourite movie of all time, White Chicks.

A large smile appeared on my face when I saw her laughing at the funny scenes. She brightened up the room. I was glad that she was enjoying the movie. This is the first time I ever saw her smile and laugh since I brought her here. A part of me was feeling guilty because she seemed so sad here but the other part of me didnt.

When the movie finished, we started playing some of the boardgames I bought. She was so good at all the games, she basically beat me in every single game we played. I was glad that she was having fun, she was smiling and laughing speaking competitive words to me, I was taken back by this because she seemed so afraid to speak to me before.

After we were done playing she went upstairs and I stayed downstairs. I finished up some paperwork and headed upstairs. I walked into the room and stood at the door way, I guess she didn't notice me because she didn't look up or turned to look, she was so invested into her painting.

I slowly walked up behind her and looked over and sold her to see her painting, it was absolutely beautiful. She finally noticed me and flinched. She cussed and I told her to watch her language, it made me upset that she was saying such vulgar words. I didn't like those words leaving her precious lips.

I asked her if I could hang up the painting, she seemed shocked by this. In the end she let me hang it up.

It was now nighttime and I was in the shower. I was thinking about the fun day we had, a genuine smile grew on my face. ' Now only if she would love me back ' I thought.

I walk out the washroom only wearing a pair of black sweatpants. I want her to gaze upon my body, because it is all hers. She stares at me for a bit, with a little bit of worry in her eyes. ' she wants to ask me something ' I thought.

As expected she asked me a question.

She asked me if she can go back to school, I immediately said no. I can't let her out of my sight, much less  go to school with all those boys around her.

I screamed no at her. What she said next completely broke my heart.

" I HATE YOU " she screamed

I was furious, but before I could yell at her she ran into the washroom locking the door behind her.

I ran after her started banging on the washroom door begging her to open it. She just kept yelling no. So I kick the door down and ran to her.

All my rage evaporated when she said " Please don't hurt me "

I immediately hugged her.

I Explained to her why I didn't want her going to school but she just stayed quiet. I just picked her up and we went to the bed falling asleep.

' Maybe I should let her go ' I thought

I thought of the perfect plan, she could go to school and also be safe. I was going to tell her what I have decided in the morning.

Emma's POV

I woke up the next morning feeling like kisses on my neck.

' there goes my good mood ' I said in my head

Lorenzo gets his head out from the crotch of my neck and says " Good morning " in a raspy voice while kissing my cheek.

" Morning " I said back attempting to get out of his grasp.

He just holds me down with his arm.

" I have a something to tell you " he says looking into my eyes

I stay silent waiting for him to continue.

" You can go to school- " he was saying before I cut him off.

" Really " I say as a bright smile grows on my face

" Don't interrupt me " he says warningly

" You can go to school, but Dante will be going with you " he finishes

I gave him a big hug.

" Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU ! " I say repeatedly

" You're welcome babygirl " he says wrapping his arms around me.

This is my opportunity to escape, and I can also get some help from Rebecca.

I was actually kinda happy that Dante was going with me as well, he was really fun to be around.

" You may start tomorrow " he says getting out of bed

He walks into his walk-in closet.

Moments later he walks out with a suit on.

" I have to go to work now " he says walking up to me kissing my forehead.

" Ok " I say

With that he leaves the room, leaving me by myself.

I take out my sketch pad and start drawing.

Tomorrow is the day that I could possibly escape this place for good.
