Katsuki's POV

Instead of taking the main road like a sane person would do, me and Kiri hoped a fence and made our way to an area of woods.

Sticking to a road would just make us stand out more anyway.

As we walked through the open field to the woods right in front of us I finally felt at home. Tall wheat grass stood around us and shifted with the wind. I ran my hand that wasn't holding his through the stocks, a small smile slipped onto my face.

I felt Kiri's hand squeeze and I look to him. A smile graces his face as well. The old me would have scoffed and looked away but I finally let myself be me and smile wider back.

Not long later we stood just outside the woods. One last hand from squeeze and we step foot through the underbrush.

First entering its almost pitch black from how late it is but once my eyes adjust I can see that the full moon is giving off the perfect lighting for us to get around. Looking out I can see that the forest stretches to the point I cant see the end.

I look to him and he looks a little nervously back to me.

"It'll be ok Kiri. Woods never really hurt anybody. Plus any animal out here is more scared of us then we are of it." I reassure him gently.

He puffs his chest out a little and takes a deep breath before nodding. Still a little shaky but I can see that he's somewhat better now.

We step forward and make out ways deeper into the woods.

In all honestly I didn't know what we were looking for on our way through the woods. We weren't following any paths but I knew that once we saw what it was, we'd know.

So sorry this chapter is so short, especially after such a long break without updating. Ill try and fix that habit, promise lol. Anyway, Ima try and edit all the other chapters now since I still have a little energy left to do that. I hope all you wonderful peeps have a great day/afternoon/night wherever you are! BYE!!
