Lan Wangji followed after , he sipped the tea quietly and placed the tea down silently too.
Lan Xichen sipped the tea after his gusts sipped their tea
Lan xichen thought with closed eyes ' why does it have to be me who always sees people in embarrassing situations' he smiled and placed the tea down looking at the people infront of him.
Lan xichen said " so.....what was the thing i saw there on the tree" he asked.

Lan Xichen's smile turned wider seeing that " Wei-gongzi , are you in love with Wangji?" He asked.
Wei Wuxian smiled and looked at Lan Wangji who's eyes snapped at him with hope in his eyes.
He placed a hand above Lan Wangji's hand and squeezed it gently and looked back at Lan Xichen who looked at his and Lan Wangji's joined hands
"Yes , i am" he replied truthfully
(*Choking noises* A-YING ARE YOU COURTING SOMEONE WHY DIDNT YOU ASK ME AND GEG—....Sh! San lang chill , now A-ying do you wanna marry him right now?)
Wei Wuxian smiled thinking about it

And got a peony from his chest which he summoned and a hairpin which was one of his birth mother's hair pin .
Lan Xichen's eyebrows shot up not expecting to see the proposal.
So he excused himself and went outside to give his brother and his future brother in law he thought gleefully some privacy.
Coz who knows what they would do if they forgot Lan Xichen was there.
Lan Wangji looked at the items Wei Wuxian got from his chest.
Wei Wuxian grabbed one of Lan Wangji's hand and kissed the back of his hand sending a spark of heat inside of Lan Wangji
Wei Wuxian showed a peony "this peony is a symbol of my feelings , i love you Lan Zhan . I feel in love with you ever since ive see you " he gave the peony to Lan Zhan who received it and softly gripped it.
Wei Wuxian delicately showed the hair pin to Lan Wangji .
The hair pin was color white and black , it had lotus patterns on it with same beads decorating it . It may not look that expensive but it IS stylish
Lan Wangji looked at the hairpin in confusion .
Wei Wuxian sighed and smiled tearfully " this is my mother's hairpin , she told me to give it to the person who i love . It came from her grandmaster Baoshan Sanren. And the person i love is you , so i give this hairpin to you" he placed the hairpin on Lan Wangji's hand
Lan Wangji was very touched , not only was he given a peony but also a hairpin from his deceased future mother-in-law so it is definitely very important and plus Wei Wuxian looked like he wanted to cry seeing the hairpin so he would cherish this.
Lan Wangji smiled a little bit and got off his hairpin that was on locked his head piece together .
He placed his hairpin on the table and gave the hairpin Wei Wuxian gave to him back to Wei Wuxian and asked hesitantly " can you ?" He pointed at the hair piece without the hair stick.
And in response , Wei Wuxian nodded enthusiastically . He waddled closer to Lan Wangji and locked his mothers hairpin on Lan Wangji's hair piece.
Lan wangji looked back at Wei Wuxian with a small smile which gave Wei Wuxian a million butterflies inside his stomach.
Wei Wuxian asked " will you accept my courtship , Lan Zhan?"
