Karl pov
A sudden flash of air and colour whips past me.
"Woah, watch it!" I yell after him as I grip my camera bag hanging on my shoulder so it doesn't move too much. Sure, I normally wouldn't shout at someone for passing me but he could of least given me a warning.
The boy that went past was on a flame patterned skateboard and looked back at me before pushing off again as he made it onto the sidewalk our school was on. I roll my eyes and continue my way into the school.
Sure I recognised him as one of the more sporty guys at school and I've probably had a few classes with him over the years. However, he was just one of those idiot guys that moan in the back of the class and think it's hilarious which to be fair, the first few times it was, but after ninth grade it just kind of got offensive and immature, hell we are supposed to graduate this year.
The halls were chaotic as usual, freshmen still not knowing where to go even though it is the second week, seniors moping around, juniors congregation in big groups to seem cooler and everything in between, however, I quickly spot of of my friends among the crowd.
"Hey George, how was your weekend?" I ask when I reach his side and continue walking to our lockers together.
George is relatively new to the school, showed up last year after his family moved from the big grand London to Orlando Florida. Why they chose Florida I'm not too sure, maybe a better job opportunity for one of his parents but i don't care too much and it seemed like somewhat of a touchy subject to him.
He is always sarcastic as hell but sweet when you get to know him better, and might I say crazy sometimes, like joker level. But he was always there to make you laugh, and even though he was new everyone knew of him and liked him, no one had a bad word to say, let alone all the girls swooned over him.
"Pretty boring didn't do much, you?" He shrugged as he guided us towards our lockers.
"Same really, just catching up on some review. I don't remember anything from maths last year." I laugh as we turn the corner.
Thankfully our lockers are in the science wing and not many people take this hallway to get to other classes so it isn't as crowded as the main ones.
"Aye! What's up gamers!" Quackity shouts into mine and George's ears as he wraps his arms around us, appearing out of nowhere.
Quackity, the absolute comedy king. Just like George he always knew how to have a good time no matter the situation. He was a plain old idiot like the rest of us plus bonus points for knowing him since the beginning of junior high. He came up here for school and spent summers and Christmas in Mexico with his extended family. One Christmas I convinced my mom to let me go down and she said yes, my dad wasn't too happy but it was an experience I would never forget. Quackity would always have to translate for me.
"Why are you so loud so early?" George complained as he shrugged Quackity's arm off his shoulder.
"And why are you a grouch all the time, huh?" Quackity complained back in a joking manner poking his side.
I shook my head and opened my locker grabbing the few books that I need for my morning classes. Math, English, and my photography journal, already having my camera with me.
"One of the skater guys almost ran into me this morning with no warning what so ever. Absolute nimrod." I complained.
"Which one?" George perked up although I have no idea why. Maybe he likes one of them but I doubt it. We don't hate them necessarily but we do talk shit time to time, everyone does about everyone, nothing new in high school.
