Trigger Warning: Underage Drinking

Karl pov

"Quackity! I am not having a blast." I pout throwing myself down on George's bed, our normal meet up spot before we went out to places, today being the party, and I am not looking forward to it.

"Oh boohoo, cry me a river. It hasn't even started yet. You are stressing yourself out for nothing." Quackity explained in mock annoyance, laughter sputtering through his words. I have been like this since I got here and Quackity wasn't having it.

It is safe to say that I am a little bit nervous, but everyone is nervous before they go to parties right? Well everyone other than Quackity and George apparently as they seem perfectly chill sitting around waiting for the party to start.

Even before I got here when I was at my mom's she questioned me about it. Why I was so nervous and if a certain person was the reason. I ignored her and said it was just the party as a whole but her cheeky smile said something else, mother instincts I guess but I didn't take long enough to figure out as I was already out of my house to drive to George's.

Not only was the party a party -even as stressful it was it is-  it is also a Halloween party. Aka you have to dress up and Quackity had the oh so wonderful idea of doing Alvin and the Chipmunks as a trio costume. It's not that I hated the idea, it was the fact that I got stuck with Theodore because Quackity think's he is too rock star not to be Alvin and I mean, George is Simon. No questions asked there really. There was also another anxiety inducing factor but I will come to it when I face it.

"Why did I agree to this again?" George complains after putting on his Simon outfit with circle glasses and blue jumper. Our costumes aren't far from normal everyday wear but you could tell they were costumes by the big printed letters on the jumpers.

"Because it will be perfect for what I got." Quackity explains before going to his bag and bringing out toy microphones. After handing one to each of us he turned his on and spoke into it, his voice being auto tuned and I already knew tonight would be a wreck between the two as they are obsessed with auto tune. The amount of late night calls with them just speaking in auto tune to each other was more then there should be.

George's eyes went wide and turned his on to sing alongside Quackity and I couldn't help but join them in the poorly executed bedroom concert. It did help me calm down with all the distractions as I threw on my jumper and made sure my nail polish was a nice bright green before heading out of the house, this time me driving knowing Quackity will definitely be way too wasted to sit behind the wheel afterwords.

Quackity put on some annoyingly overplayed pop songs as we drove to the party and I couldn't help but think that he is just trying to prepare us for the ear bursting music that will be occurring when we get there. I have only been to a party once before this in my life and there were three things that I remember from it. One, lots of drunk and sweaty teenagers, two, getting thrown up on by none other than Quackity himself, and finally the same songs that have been played on the radio on repeat over the last 10 years with the loudest speakers possible. All these things aren't very pleasant might I add.

I would say that I could hold Quackity's alcohol consumption back but we both know that wasn't going to happen unless we locked him in a room without any. George has tried multiple of times when he would go with Quackity but he always ended up slipping away leading for many of stories from George that Quackity didn't even know himself because he was so out of it.

The concept of getting so drunk that you barely remember what you did the past day has never appealed to me, or drinking at all for that matter. Sure it was a relaxer but there are other natural ways to get relaxed. Not that I am bashing it, just never thought of doing it myself and that isn't going to start today as I have to make sure everyone gets home safely.
