Tempest woke up with the sun as she usually did, and everything felt same as it usually did.
Well, for the first two minutes it did anyways, until all the memories from yesterday, they all came crashin' back down onto her in a wave of emotional pain.
Tempest looked over to her left and saw that Eric was still soundly asleep and at that, she just had to smile. She felt suddenly guilty about it, asking him to stay and now she found herself wonderin', how long it took him to get to sleep after she did.
Eric woke up to the familiar sound of running water as he momentarily was confused about where he was. That is, until he spotted the tattooed drawings that all were pinned on the wall to his right.
Tempest changed in the bathroom and she came out in a bigger black jacket, a pair of black pants, a dark red shirt and a black pair of combat boots.
She looked at the jacket and shakes her head. "All of these jackets look the same." She said and quickly switched, since she had grabbed Eric's by a total mistake.
"You're not wrong." Eric pointed out and Tempest almost hit the roof from surprise, as she hadn't realized that he was awake. "Sorry, never meant for you to get startled." He admitted and took his jacket back from her and she brushed her hair quickly, as she tucks it back, into a single ponytail.
"So, I wonder what our leadership training is going to be like today?" She wondered out loud, and she made her way up to the Pire, only to run into Max in the Pit. "Max." She greeted him quickly, and she backed up a little bit.
"Tempest. We are going to be running through Fear Landscapes today, so maybe you should let Eric know-- never mind about it." Max was forced to cut himself off, as Eric had shown up, right as he was trying to get Tempest to go get him.
"Right here Max. Fear Landscapes today? Excellent." Eric said casually as he reached behind his back as their fingers laced together, as he squeezed her hand.
"Yes, we are going through them in partners. I have the partners, all on these sheets of paper here." Max said and by now, they were all lined up in the fear landscape room now.
"Kieran and Kina."
"Thomas and Jason."
"Mason and Andrew."
"Kiara and Scott."
"Levi and Andrea."
The names went on and on, until there was only four names left that hadn't been called yet.
"Jared and Julian."
"Tempest and Eric."
Tempest sighed very quietly with relief and Eric nodded a bit, and he looked over at her. She nodded at his look.
"I am really glad that we have already seen each other's fears, this should not be too difficult. Unless one of us, either one of us, gets any new ones. But... we should be able to handle them... right?"
Tempest was praying to God that she was right about it, and Max had given the two of them the chance to go first.
"Yours first?" Tempest asked of Eric and he shrugged, before he turned to Lauren and nodded.
"Mine is longer. Get mine over with and yours should be no problem for us... hopefully." Eric said very quietly as Lauren set it to follow Eric's fears, and Max walked forward over to the two with the syringes in hand.
"Good luck." Max said and he injected Eric first, then Tempest and they both walked into the next room and let the room fall away.
