"Morning mom," I greeted my mother and she showed me a warm smile.
"Morning sweetie. Did you slept well?"
"Surprisingly enough, I did!" I answered now walking towards the door.
"Are you leaving already?" she asked with a faint laugh and I nodded sightly my head.
"Yup, I'll leave early today."
"Okay then, take care."
"I will~"

"Here," spoke David and my eyes glimmered in excitement.
"Can I...?" I asked hesitantly. My hand already reaching in front of me and my eyes savoring the beautiful metallic and sharp sword into David's hands.
"Of course," he answered with a nod, "But...," he continued and I took my hand back.
"What now?"
"If you take this sword from my hands, you would have to fight me," he finally explained and I raised a curious eyebrow.
"Sounds good to me," I shrugged and took the sword into my hands.
We walked a few meters away from each other and I got a stronger hold of my sword, with David doing the exact same thing with his own one. We took our stances and stared dead ahead into each others eyes.
I was waiting for him to do the first move but he didn't. It felt like he was challenging me and there was no way I would back off now.
I took in a deep breath and quickly charger towards him. I moved as fast as I could, focused at his right side and swung my sword at him. He dodge it with ease and got away from me once again. I ran straight at him and brought the sword to his head but he blocked it with his katana.
The fight seemed to be to his favor as I was barely keeping up with him. I kept on dodging his attacks and to escape, I used my right leg and hit his left side. He jumped towards my left, seemingly unfazed by my kick.
"At least now there's some space between us," I thought to my myself and gritted my teeth. Suddenly, I noticed something odd on my sword. A black mist, like some short of veil, had surrounded my sword. I was very surprised at first but then I remembered that David had done something similar a while ago.
I chuckled and walked a few more steps away from David, "That's a nasty trick David. I didn't knew we were allowed to use magic. You should had told me sooner," I voiced, now waiting for him to remove his shadow.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" questioned David with his ever so curious eyes and I froze in shock.
"Eh?"
I watched my sword as the black mist had already cover it. I dropped it on the ground, afraid by the strange and mysterious mist that appeared out of nowhere. The once metallic sword was now painted with a shiny black color.
Immediately after, I felt a heavy pain in my chest. My eyes gazing stubbornly at the sword on the ground. A strange and burning instinct had awakened within me. Unconsciously of me, I took the sword back into my hands and not even a second later, I had ran towards David ready to attack him. My whole body moving on its own, raised the sword at his neck. But thankfully, David was able to block it with his own. I jumped above him and tried to hit his head. David was quick enough to dodge it and ran a couple of meters away.
I gazed at him. My mind clouded and my body hypnotized by the heavy and uncontrollable feeling in my chest. A few locks of my hair turning white as an electric purple hue appeared on my crystal blue eyes.
