the day started with me who overslept and woke up at 12.37 instead of 9.30 so my plans were ruined. i was supposed to get my room sorted, do all my laundry and go to the shop before 14.00(2.00pm) because at around 14.10 i had to go to go to my grandma and grandpa and get my dog (family dog cus you just turned 18 and lives at home)
"Shit" i whispered to myself once i looked at the time.
i got up from bed and rushed to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. then i quickly fixed my white sheets on my bed to look somewhat presentable and put away random small things that where not in place. i picked up all the clothing on the floor and on my chair and sorted out the once that i hadn't worn and the dirty clothes that had to be washed. i made my way downstairs with my laundry basket almost falling on the way. i pushed open the door to the laundry machines and smelled the smell of clean laundry. i didn't have time to separate the clothes by color and wash it so the full basket just got left in the corner of the room.
once i got up to my room i looked at the time

i took a quick look into my closet and grabbed a pair of sweatpants shorts (not the super short ones but more like the ones that goes mid thigh) and a small cropped shirt that would fit well with the sunny weather that i only noticed because of the sunlight making it's way between the open areas in my curtains coloring my white walls slightly yellow. i grabbed a pair of shoes, and my phone and rushed downstairs for the second time. once i got to the door i as quick as possible put my shoes on and grabbed the keys to my car that i got gifted on my 18 birthday 2 weeks ago.
the drive to the shops wasn't to long and when i got there it surprised me how many people decided to shop at this time today.
"you have to be fucking kidding me right now"
i sighed rubbing my hands over my face feeling anger and almost sadness building up inside.
i made my way into the shop with my mask on trying my best to not walk to close to other people. i wasn't going to shop to much but mom told me yesterday that i had to go and get the stuff on the list she sent me.
-"skip time„-
once i got back in my car it was 14.06 (2.06pm)
and i hade to make my way to my grandparents house and get our dog.
it was a 15 minute drive from the shop to their house so by the time i got there i saw them standing in the yard playing and waiting for me.
"hi guys i'm so so sorry for being late this day is not going to great for me"
i said closing the car door making my way towards them.
"oh it's no worries dear"
my grandma said giving me a warm smile.
i stood in front of my car about 3 meters away from the gate and waited since i was social distancing myself from them. they had just gotten their first shot of vaccine and i decided to not risk anything. grandma opened the gate and out flew Nira who is a 6 month old cocker spaniel.
"oh hello to you to then"
i chuckled slightly as she was kissing all over my face once i picked her up in my arms.
"well thank you so much for watching her today"
i put my focus back on my grandparents.
"it's no problem we had lots of fun, don't bother to ask again honey."
my grandma said back giving me one more of those warm and heartfelt smiles.
"well i have to get going- i hope to see you soon"
"yeah of course take care"
my grandma said and waved while i mad my way to the car and put Nira in her "car seat" in the back.
