Chapter Two:

Rhys’s POV: Holy. Fucking. Cow. This place was vivid with people, music, and all-around fun. I needed this. I can’t seclude myself anymore. I’m gonna get a drink, and I’m gonna meet a man, and everything will be perfect.

I went down to the bar, and ordered a shot of vodka and a glass of red wine. After I had gulped my shot, and all of my anxiety for the night, I was feeling alot better and kind of floaty and out of it.

So of course my wish gets granted… And as I’m walking around sipping my wine I just happened to trip over my way too tall heels and spill my wine allover someone.

“Oh my God. I’m so sorry. These heelsare too tall to even be human…” I trailed off as I looked up.

Oh God, Rhys. Good going. Hey, at least hes really cute…

“Oh. It’s no problem. As long as I can get your number to have the dry cleaners send the bill too.” He smirked.

Oh. My. God. Is he flirting with me?

“Was that a line?” I chuckled.

“Maybe… Did it work?” He moved a little closer.

“Maybe…” I teased. “But you have to buy me a drink first to find out.” I smiled… And then I did something I never do… I winked.

“Alright. Easy enough. Go sit down at that booth over there and tell me what you want.”

“A bottle of wine and two glasses, please.” I smiled and blushed.

This was perfect. Its all I ever wanted.

Then I realized, I’ve never been in love. I’m twenty-four years of age and I’ve never been in love. That is truly pathetic.

He comes back with a bottle of deluxe red wine and two crystal wine glasses.

“Well, aren’t you fancy?” I smirked.

“Well I would do anything for a pretty lady.” He chirped.

Thank God that the club lights were red at the moment, for I am almost one-hundred percent sure that I turned red as a tomato.

“Judging me by my appearance again?” I realized I hadn’t caught his name, and he apparently he did too.

“Jefferson, And yours?”

“Rhys.”

“Rhys…” He repeated. “That is an amazing and beautiful name.” He said, casually sipping his wine.
