Chapter 7: Christmassssss

Rhys’s POV: *Time Skip Weeeeeeeeeeee*

So, it’s almost Christmas Eve. Woo Hoo. I’ve never been very excited about holidays… Other than All Hallows Eve… Now I know what you are thinking ‘Omg really? Shes so emo...’  But thats not the reason why. My mothers birthday was on All Hallows Eve. So especially now it means alot to me.

*buzz*

Jefferson: Hey. Merry almost Christmas Eve baby. <3

Rhys: Thanks. Do you want to come over on Christmas Eve and spend the night?

Jefferson: Yeah, that would be nice. Would your cousin mind?

Rhys: Nah. She already has Castiel LIVING here. It shouldn’t be a problem. But I gotta go to work so I can afford all of the Christmas gifts for all the people I love. ;) Bye baby. <3

I hopped into my old pickup truck and drove to the mall. The day before Christmas Eve is always busy.

“Hey Dahling.” I giggled.

Dahlia was standing at the counter of the store stocking the display shelves. I grabbed my nametag and clocked in.

“Hey Rhys’s pieces.” She laughed back.

We were becoming really good friends.

“I like your shirt.” She commented.

I looked down to remember what shirt I wore today. It was my Welcome To The Black Parade shirt.

“Hey thanks.” I said getting right to work assisting a customer find a deck of Magic The Gathering cards for her nephew.

“We are going to need you to help get games from the back today, also.” Dahlia informed me.

“Okay. Not a problem.” I chirped.

Then, the rush began. people were coming into our store like mosquitos into a tent. I was rushing back and forth to help customers and grab games for them.

“Hey, Dahlia?” I asked.

“Yeah?” She shouted from the back.

“I’m going on my lunch break. Cover for me?”

I chose to ask her at a time that was less busy.

“Yeah. Sure. No problem.” She said, imitating me.

“Thanks!” I shouted grabbing my backpack and heading to the food court.
