samyukta sharma had been freddy carter's best friend since she was eighteen. the two were enrolled in the oxford school of drama, something they had in common other than being chaotic.
their friendship started in a really weird way when samyukta got a detention just because she was found sitting next to freddy who had brought chewing gums to put a prank on his fellow mates.
when samyukta tried defending herself, freddy lied that it was her who made the plan. needless to say, samyukta literally tried to strangle him when they were left alone to clean the whole auditorium.
"what? i didn't want to spend the detention alone. you seemed cool for a company." freddy had said while ducking the props samyukta was mercilessly throwing at him.
she was really upset with the fact that not a single week in the school and she had already received a detention. she tried to ignore and dodge freddy who always somehow managed to catch up with her. he wanted to apologize for the mistake he committed but it was almost impossible for him to get samyukta to talk to him.
OCTOBER 2012
a wicked and wonderful idea struck his mind and he just waited for samyukta to get inside the washroom. when she did, he peeked inside to find it to be empty giving him a perfect chance to apologize.
he locked the door behind himself and walked to the stall where samyukta was. making sure not to startle her or anything, he carefully locked the door from outside and waited for her to finally realise that she has been locked inside.
"is someone out there? help me!" samyukta screamed, continuously banging on the door.
"stop screaming. i don't wanna go get deaf." freddy rolled his eyes.
"what the fuck? carter is that you? what the fuck are you doing inside? DID YOU JUST LOCK ME INSIDE? OPEN THE GODDAMN DOOR OTHERWISE I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" samyukta yelled.
"stop screaming. you're going to have some audience out there waiting for you outside." freddy said,"and if they asked me what i was doing in here , i'm just gonna say that we were making out so it's better if you calm the fuck down and listen to me."
"ugh!" samyukta groaned before muttering an audible fine.
"look, i have nothing against you. i can be dorky and stupid sometimes but i didn't mean to get you in trouble. i am really sorry for getting you in detention even when it was all my fault. i don't know why but i just didn't want to have the whole detention to myself." freddy started, really confused by the garbage he was speaking.
