"Oh its so good to see you again." Samyukta smiled as she felt the warm feeling taking over her skin when she hugged Freddy.
"You make it sound like you haven't seen me for an year." Freddy chuckled, pulling away from the hug.
"It felt like a year." Samyukta shrugged, letting out a giggle at the end.
"So have you made me my favorite brownies?" Freddy grinned, taking off his shoe near the front door before he walked inside barefoot, his blue eyes scanning the photographs hanging on the wall. the first one had a family picture of samyukta with her parents on her either side, the next had him from her 23th birthday.
"I thought you were joking?" Samyukta raised one of her brows, stopping on her tracks to get to the kitchen.
"I can smell the sweet aroma." Freddy smirked, averting his gaze from the photographs to Samyukta who chuckled in response. He scampered inside the living room and made himself comfortable on the long couch.
"We're watching shadow and bone!" Samyukta exclaimed happily as she walked inside the living room with a plate full of mouth - watering brownies.
"Oh yeah?" Freddy laughed, amused by her love for the show. Nodding, Samyukta plopped down next to him, passing the plate over to him before she grabbed the remote and switched the television on.
"You want some?" Freddy asked, trying to control his laughter at the way Samyukta was gushing over Mal and Alina.
"No." Responded Samyukta, not even a sparing glance at him. Instead her eyes were fixed on the television screen. "Oh my god. It's jesper." Samyukta exclaimed,"I swear to god he's the coolest."
Samyukta grinned to herself as she watched in awe jesper shooting the coin in the air. "THAT'S MY BEST FRIEND." Samyukta squealed, startling Freddy who rolled his eyes in response.
"come on don't roll your eyes. I mean look at that entry wow!" Samyukta gushed, playfully hitting Freddy on his shoulders.
"He knows it's inej doesn't he? he can feel her presence?" Samyukta asked to no one in particular when Kaz out of nowhere said hello inej. "Aww they are so cute." Samyukta smiled when kaz said she is not like you, no one is.
"duh you've already watched it right?" Freddy asked, surprised by her reaction.
"shhh. I can't get over it." Samyukta chuckled.
