He was coming down the hall after his nightly wind-down. He was pretty relaxed from playing with the wolves, watching the moon rise and fall over time, and stargazing. And after all of that, he was now looking forward to a good night's sleep. He was just about to enter his room when he heard weird noises coming from a couple rooms down. He looked at his clock, and it was 2:28 in the morning.
Why is someone else up this late? I'm the only one that stays up this late..
He walked down the hall, and opened the door to the room as quietly as he could, just in case someone was sleeping and he opened the wrong door. He didn't, but he wished he did. Here was Gulvic holding onto Meme with all of his tentacles, talking to him about something. He shut the door almost immediately, but did it very quietly. But before he shut the door, he saw Meme glance over at him for a split second. Even if it was a split second, the look in Meme's eyes said, "RUN WOOLF. I DON'T CARE IF I DIE, I JUST DON'T WANT ANYONE ELSE TO DIE." He felt like him and Meme then became spiritually one for a minute, because he felt what Meme was thinking. What he felt was, "I'll make him say the truth.. even if I'm killed because of it." He heard Meme then say,
"Then.. then tell me the truth right now!"
He then heard everything. He heard that Gulvic really wasn't the other side of Socks, what his goal is, and how it started. Woolf couldn't have blessed his hearing more in that event. He was so grateful his hearing was so on-point. Usually it would be annoying since he is very sensitive to sound, so a lot of things would hurt his ears. He would hear a lot of things he didn't want to know, he would hear the smallest things that were annoying to hear, but this time it actually helped. But, the grateful feelings turned into regret and sorrow. He heard a crunch and a sound that sounded like cutting a watermelon. He peeked through the door a bit, and was horrified. Meme had just been murdered.
- TW: Slight Gore Discription - A tentacle was wrapped painfully tight around his neck, a knife had just been forced into his chest, cutting the flesh and letting blood flow out like a stream. Woolf then got a bit nauseous at the sight. Gulvic then easily took the knife out of Meme's chest, and cut his own tentacle, dropping the limp body to the ground. This made the murder wound clearly visible, making Woolf even more nauseous.
Gulvic then started staring at the body, not moving or making any sound whatsoever. Woolf had just been scarred for the rest of his life. He booked it down the hall to his own room, and ran right into the bed. He had hoped that Gulvic didn't see his tail when he ran away.
Why do I even wear this stupid thing?
He thought about everything that had just happened, but heard footsteps passing by towards Socks' room. He didn't even breathe. He didn't even flinch. It was like a loading screen that was buffering. He just froze. After he was sure he wouldn't be murdered, he went back to his bed and tried to get comfortable. He got his body physically comfortable in the bed, but he was mentally nowhere near comfortable. To add on to all of this stress that had just been dumped on him, he wondered if anyone else saw or heard, if he was going to be targeted next, if Gulvic will completely take over Socks, and much more. About ten minutes of thinking went by when out of the corner of his eye he saw something. He darted right up and looked over. He saw a floating sheet of paper and a floating marker writing on it.
Well, at least I know I got to sleep..
The two objects had a white aura around them, which gave them a peaceful and protecting look. It made Woolf a bit relaxed, but at the same time it made him curious.
Wait.. am I dreaming?
He pinched himself two times on his forearm, and came to the realization that he wasn't dreaming at all. He then stared, dumbfounded at the sight. The pen then seemed to be finished writing, and the paper was then flipped to be facing Woolf. It then flew right into his face, with a chilling breeze to go along with it. It suddenly got a bit chilly in his room, but he didn't mind. The paper then dropped on his lap, and he picked it up. When he read what was on the paper, he had no words. The paper said,
