A tug in the stomach area let you slowly wake up from your dreamless sleep.
You grimaced and straightened up. The other side of the bed was empty...
Wasn't Law lying there? Law... somehow, he was mad at you... why? You had passed Miriam's task... He was half naked ... And there was something else... ... ...
While you thought about it, your stomach growled loudly and unmistakably.
Groaning, you held your stomach and got up. There was a pair of hotel slippers in front of your bed. You slipped in and made your way to the dining room.

You didn't see a soul on the way down. But you caught a glimpse of a clock. It was eleven a.m. Shouldn't the others be awake by then...?
Yawning tiredly, you scratched the back of your head.
There were bandages. There were bandages everywhere... But before you could think about it, your stomach growled again.
Ouch! You definitely had to eat something!
While you were still wondering where the others had gone, you got your answer when you opened the doors of the dining room.
Everyone was gathered behind it, eating lunch and talking lively.

Luffy noticed you first and ran towards you.
>>[Y/N]! You are finally awake! We thought you'd sleep forever! Come on, Sanji stormed the kitchen because the hotel chef quit! Come on! You have to eat a lot of meat, then you will regain your strength!<<

Perplexedly, you just wanted to reply something when Luffy had already stuffed a leg of meat into your mouth.
>>Mnhhghhh!<< you protested, trying to get the piece of meat out of your mouth.

>>Straw Hat-ya!!<< Law growled. And then he looked at you in horror. You didn't have a bearing why, but you could hardly breathe!

>>Luffy! She's not like you, you glutton!<<, Nami scolded her captain.

You took a deep breath and with one bite you swallowed most of the leg.
>>Hah... hah... thank God...<< you gasped in relief and rubbed your sore throat.

The others stared at you with big eyes.

You looked around uncertainly while you bit off the rest of the haunch and swallowed it.
>>What? I haven't eaten anything for days...<<

>>Shishishishi! Do you see? I told you that she has to eat a lot of meat!<<, Luffy triumphed, but you glared at him.

You hauled off with the bone of the haunch and hit his head. >>But that doesn't mean that I want to choke while eating!<<
The bump on his head was still steaming, while you walked past him to the food counter and loaded a whole tray full of Sanji's goodies.

The hall burst out laughing and you too had to grin widely. Those straw hats were really contagious with their goofy fuss! You hadn't felt so free and cheerful in years... and it was so pleasant!

Luffy laughed and grabbed the next haunch of meat.

You sat down on one of the free seats and dug in. Law sat across from you and looked at you in disbelief.
At some point his silent stare got on your nerves and you looked up, your mouth full and your stomach finally busy and no longer growling.
