New Orleans was full of music, you could hear a band playing from miles away, it was almost impossible to escape. But I guess that's just the joy of New Orleans.
As I walked through the dark streets with this man, who had fortunately just saved my life, my mind was filled with questions. Why did he save me? Was he going to hurt me? But the main question I wanted to know was is he really the monster everyone describes him as?
"You're a very curious woman, aren't you?" he grinned, while stopping me to look him in the eyes.
"I have no connection to what you are speaking of." I confidently spoke.
"I think you do, love." he chuckled. Whenever he smiled, his dimples would always show, almost like a soft side to him.
Slowly, we began to walk again, everything was a lot to take in at once. Not only my legs were tired but I was as well. Physically and mentally.

We arrived at this large mansion, so big and fancy you would picture the Royal lived there.
There were two large pillars supporting the front entrance of the house, bushes around the outside of the house for privacy, trees that would hover over, and steep steps that lead right up to the large front doorway.
"It's a beautiful home." I commented, turning to Klaus. He did not reply, instead he smiled and took my hand to help me up the stairs.
"Niklaus, I do not need such help to walk up stairs." I laughed.
"Love, I'm welcoming you to my home, at least let me be a gentlemen. And remember, it's Klaus." he quickly replied.
As he opened the front door my face quickly turned into shock, at the inside entrance you could see a chandelier, a round staircase leading upstairs, and beautiful furniture that must be worthy of millions. I had never felt this rich, mother and father always struggled with money and here I was in the richest house in the whole of New Orleans.
"Are you hungry?" Klaus questioned while closing the door behind him.
"I suppose." I said.
"I'll have them make you something." he smiled. As he began to walk away I quickly and suddenly grabbed his hand,
"Thank you." I said. He nodded his head and smiled then began to speak,
"Just know, I don't do this regularly, infact I don't do this at all. Consider yourself lucky."then he continued to walk off.
