We arrived in The French Quarter, at this large building, seemed oddly familiar to me, the inside had a ginormous amount of space. As I began putting my coat on the hanger I heard a voice, "Klaus what have I told you about- who's this?" she snapped. The woman had light olive skin, hazel-green eyes, and dark brown hair. She was naturally slim and fairly tall. Before Klaus could introduce me, I introduced myself, "I'm Adeline, friends call me Addy, so it's Adeline to you. However, the question is who are you?" I rudely replied, holding my hand out for her to shake it. She stared at me seriously for around about a minute until suddenly she burst out laughing and so did Klaus. "What?" I groaned, staring at the girl and then back at Klaus who had just managed to stop his laughter. "I'm Hayley." she said, finally shaking my hand. Oh god, the girl Klaus slept with. Classic Klaus Mikaelson. I didn't know what I was supposed to say, Klaus promised me it wouldn't be awkward and now look where we are. "Hayley, love, Adeline is a good friend of mine from the past, we just found each other after so long apart and thought it would be nice to catch up." Klaus said, breaking the awkwardness. "Well, nice to meet you." Hayley smiled. Even though I thought she would've been a total bitch, she wasn't actually that terrible. She seemed like a genuine lady. "Daddy!" came a soft voice from a young girl running towards Klaus. She had long auburn hair and light blue eyes. Her cheeks had little freckles scattered across them and she had the cutest dimples like her father. "There's my princess." Klaus cheered and picked her up, spinning her around whilst she let out an adorable giggle. Quickly, she noticed me, her face became red and she went shy and hid her face in her dads shoulder. "Hope, sweetheart this is Adeline. Adeline is my friend." he smiled, trying to get the shyness out of her. She was an absolutely gorgeous and lovely kid, she seemed happy, and she looked so alike to her father. "Hi." I awkwardly said, trying to make sure there was no silence. Hope was still in her father's arms, she began to lift her head up, facing me. I smiled, and she smiled back. "She's shy." Hayley said. "So I see." I replied, laughing. So are you staying?" Hayley asked. I looked at Klaus who began nodding and spoke, "Yeah she's staying." and then grinned at me. I'm not going to lie, Klaus Mikaelson was definitely the most attractive man I had ever met. Once you lay eyes on him, it's hard to take them off. "Great, well we have spare rooms so just take your pick." Hayley excitingly replied, heading upstairs, leaving me alone with Klaus and Hope. ———- Hope y'all liked this chapter!! I loved writing it ;)
