Fuck you, Tim for making me depressed.

"Ricky, come on... why are we here?" Nini groaned as she and her husband of 6 years strolled through the entrance of the Santa Monica pier.
Ricky rolled his eyes, chuckling lightly as he stopped in front of her, loosely grabbing her hand. "I don't know, Neens. I just figured we could have one last hoorah at the place that brought us together before we make it official."
The smaller brunette looked ahead at the large crowd and sighed. "I don't know, Ricky..." she hesitated. "Maybe we just need to get it over with." She tried, but Ricky refused to give in. "One hour. Just stay for one hour and then we'll sign the papers and go." He pleaded. "Plus, I know damn well you wanna go on the Ferris wheel." He smirked.
Nini rolled her eyes.
"I can't tell if your romantic nostalgia is adorable or just sad." The brunette said as she locked arms with her husband. Ricky chuckled, "Think of this as coming full circle!" Nini smiled.
Ricky looked at his wife for a minute. "Do you remember that day seven years ago?" He asked. Nini looked at him and smiled. "Of course. That was one of the best days of my life."

"You're not gonna like... murder me or anything, right? Because you should know that I took karate and I won't hesitate to fight you!" Nini said as she was blindly guided somewhere.
She felt Ricky laugh behind her and smiled.
"I know you would, Neens. And I'd probably let you win if I was feeling generous." He said in her ear, sending shivers down her spine.
"That's big talk coming from a guy who last his last bar fight." Nini muttered and Ricky scoffed. "First of all: that dude caught me off guard, and secondly: I hardly fought back because I know you hate it." He said, stopping them in the middle of their destination.
"Ready, Neens?" He asked.
"More than ready." She nodded.
"3, 2, 1" He lifted the blindfold off his girlfriend of four years and watched as she looked around.
"You brought me to the Santa Monica pier?" she asked, amazed. Ricky smiled and nodded. "It's been a while since we had a fun date since we've both been busy studying for our finals. "Plus, I know this is one of your favorite spots and I know how much you love riding the Ferris wheel, especially at night." He explained to her. "But if you don't like it, we can do something else!" He said, quickly.
Nini shook her head and smiled. "Are you kidding me? I get to ride the Ferris wheel and kick your ass at the ring toss?! What more could a girl want?!" She asked, pecking his lips before running down the pier.
Ricky smiled and shook his head as he watched the love of his life run through the throng of people.
"Come on, Richard!" Nini yelled, nodding towards the duos favorite carnival game. "Don't be such a sore loser, already!"
Ricky laughed and followed his girlfriend to the ring toss booth. He'll never admit it to her, but he let's her win every single time, just so he can see her exuberant smile.
The next few hours were spent with him letting her beat him at stupid carnival games, except for the horse racing one because no one beats him at that. Now they were munching on cotton candy as they waited to board the giant wheel. The wheel continuously went round and round and Nini could sense Ricky was getting nervous.
