7. Why Didn't she Stay?

(Jessy's Pov)

"I'm throwing a party Friday and i---..."

I really wish I hadn't come to gym. How long has he been talking? Who is this guy? Ash? Adam? Aiden? He told me before, but I just can't concentrate... Taylor made me so... so... hot. *blush* ...

Then he just pulls away like it was nothing and laughs. I mean sure when I did it to him, it was hilarious. His expression and the way his cheeks flushed, it was priceless. I honestly don't know what came over me when I pushed him into the locker. Once I'd done it, everything just came naturaly. ... Weird...

I knew he wanted me to kiss him, but as tempting as his lips looked, I thought it would be funny to see him blush since apparently it's funny when I do.

As shocking as it seems, I didn't feel completely nervous with my body pressed against his, it seemed so right.. I really wish I could've caught him before he went in to the boys restroom.

"So Jessica, what do yo--"

The bell rings drowning out the.rest of Mystery guy's sentence. I grab my books and run for the door.

"See you later Jessica!"

"Bye Adam!" I yell over my shoulder.

"It's Alec!"

Oh... *blush*

I slow down once I exit the gym. Alec must have been talking for at least 15 minutes... But about what? My thoughts were constantly on Taylor...

I wonder how long Taylor stayed in that restroom? I can't believe I tried to hit him. ... What's he doing to me? How is it that one touch from him makes me want to jump his b---"

My thoughts are cut off as I round a corner and slam into something hard. Ugh! Why am I walking into everything all of a sudden?! I close my eyes and prepare myself for the pain. But instead, I feel an arm snake around my waist.

"Damn Jess, walk much?"

I open my eyes, and I'm met with a pair of blueish gray eyes filled with amusement.

*nervous chuckle* "Hey John" I say as he removes his arm.

"Hey, ready to go?"

*blush* "G-go where?"

He chuckles and gives me a duh look "Lunch, duh!"

"Okay?" he picks up my books, turns around, and begins to walk away.

Do I follow? Why's he here? Why does he want to take me to lu--

"You coming midget?" John calls over his shoulder, not even bothering to stop.

"You're not very tall yourself" I say once I catch up to him.

"What?! I'm 5'11!"

"Exactly..."

He just chuckles and keeps walking. He never told me why he's walking me to lunch...

"Hey John?"

"Sup?"

"Um... W-why are you walking me to lunch?"

He chuckles, glances at me, and shakes his head.

Well that tells me absolutely nothing.

"That tells me nothing" I murmur voicing my thoughts, as we round a corner.

"Jess, who's my boyfriend?"

"Eric?"

"Right. Now who are you supposed to sit with at lunch? "

"Eric and Emmie" I still don't know where he's going with this.
