"For centuries, our realm has been perfectly organized under the rule of lords from each leagues. There was perfect harmony between those leagues. Overtime, they grew stronger and held dominion over all."
"Leagues? What do you mean by that?", Prem looked expectantly at Tutah.
Tutah sighed and sank back to his seat. " Different groups..mmm..more like different species? There are witches/wizards, vampires, ware wolves, and elves."
" Back to history.....", he continued. " As we all know, nothing stays permanent. There were some power hungry, greedy people, who defied the laws, rebelled against their lords, and eventually created a war in this realm. Peace was lost and chaos erupted. It continued until a few decades ago, the lords decided to sign a peace treaty."
"Did the treaty get signed?", Bright asked.
"Yes, it did.", Arthit looked straight into Bright's eyes. " The lords met at the palais de justice in the forbidden city, civitatem, for peace negotiations, hence the first tribunal was formed."
"Tribunal? Like a court?", Bright asked.
"Something like that. Danchenpaya from the vampire league were placed as the advisors, while Konthagnins of Elves were elected as supervisors of public healthcare since they are amazing healers. For law enforcement, the werewolf warrior clan Suttiluks, and finally..", Tutah gestured towards Arthit as he continued. "The Rojanapat lord was chosen as the tribunal overlord."
" But we can't please everyone, can we? A few still despised the new treaty. One among them being from the Warewolf clan. He advocated how inefficient is the current treaty, claiming it only benefited the ruling class. He formed his own army which consisted of members from all leagues, gaining the name rogues. His followers saw him as ambitious and aspiring young man, but in reality he was another ruthless, megalomaniac who used the rogues for personal gains."
"What happened then?"
"A war", Knot answered. " They attacked the tribunal. Even innocent humans were dragged to the streets and slaughtered along with our brethren. Blood, death, and the pain of lose engulfed the air. We barely won. As a final resort he summoned the warrior demon duke Eligos using the blood of people from each league. In return of helping the demon to walk on the earth, he gained liber imperium, the dark magic book. But his efforts were futile since with the last ounce of everything left we stormed into his chamber and banished him along with the demon into the underworld."
There was a pause. " What about the book.?", Prem broke the silence.
"It's lost.", Tutah answered.
" How is this history connected to your 0062?", Bright questioned.
Arthit chuckled, "The provocateur of the whole insurrection, his name was Samran, Samran Suttiluk.".
"WHAT??!!"
Arthit laughed at his gobsmacked friends flashing his dimples. Bright and Prem looked at their laughing friend.
" We checked it guys.", Tutah shook his head smiling. " Seems like Suttiluk is a common name among humans. Our nong's is a just another ordinary family."
"Enough with the foreboding talks. Back to our mission.", Knot exhaled.
Arthit smiled crookedly.
" What?", Tutah half snapped.
" She dared to touch what's mine, and she will pay for it."
Four pairs of eyes glanced back at him.
" First step, I will make her give this to him just like she administered the potion....and the rest will follow.", Arthit said rolling the vial between his fingers.
