Chapter 24 😏💅

"Look Ashley, you should come back to Arizona, your mom needs you." She speaks.

, "yeah." I say with sadness in my voice. "I'll be there tomorrow." I say ending the call then quickly going upstairs to get a suitcase.

I throw some clothes in, take my money and everything I need then rush downstairs, getting my key and locking the door as I walk out.

I turn to my car opening the trunk and putting in my luggage then get to the drivers seat and get in to sit down, I then breathe out,

How am I supposed to leave without telling anyone, without telling Alex. I'm gonna come back soon hopefully. But my mom means everything to me so I need to be there for her...

Since I'm driving it's gonna take me over ten hours to get there. Ugh the patience.

As I stop at a gas station I thought that letting someone know I'm leaving will take a weight off my shoulder so I decided to call Taylor.

As I watch the phone ring I nearly gave up since she wasn't picking up but then suddenly she picks up so I put my phone to my ear.

"Yo, why you waking me up so early?" Taylor says. I look at my watch to see it's twelve in the morning. I laughed, "oh yeah Alexander wants you to visit him." Taylor says making my smile slowly drop.

"I can't, I'm actually driving to Arizona right now." I say, "what?!" She yells over the phone making me wince. "Why would you leave, what? Why?" She says nervously. "My mom got in a car crash, I need to be there for her." I say.

"Oh, holy shit, that's terrible, How is she?" She asks. "She's injured badly, her leg is broken." I say, "how broken, like in half?" She asks, "no her bones and all that." I say. "Oh." She says.

"Yeah so I just wanted to let you know so you don't worry for me." I say, "I have to put gas in my car so, I'll go, I'll call you some day though." I say,

"You're gonna come back after your mom heals up right?" She asks with hope in her voice, I sigh "I don't know Taylor."

"No no, please come back, you have to, you can't just leave us like that." I hear her sad voice say over the phone making me gulp. "I mean how are you gonna deal with college?" She asks, "you didn't even say goodbye to my brother, do you not know what that will do to him." She says.

"I'll come back one day..." I say before ending the call and turning it off then step out of my car starting to fill my car up with gas. In no time I'm back in my car driving away and continuing my trip to Arizona.

"Alexander Dallas you have a visit." My heart skipped a bit thinking that it may be Ashley since last time my sister Taylor was here, I told her to tell Ashley to come see me.

"From who?" I asked. "Some brunette girl."

Ashley is brunette, but so is Taylor?

"She didn't tell you her name?" I ask confused, he then puts my hands behind my back holding me as he walks me to a room which I then walk in.

I look up to see,

My sister, great.

"Hey." She says with a smug look on her face, I sit down, "hey." I say to her. "How's everything?" She asks, "how can it be? Jail isn't fun nor comfortable." I say, "but it's fine I guess." I say.

"You're going to be out in no time." Taylor says with confidence. "I better be." I say.

There was a short pause,
