(The opening shot shows two sixteen-year-old's, Alex and his friend, Mike, eating in the school cafeteria together)
Alex- (Curious) So what are you going to do when you get home?
Mike- Not sure. Probably just lay around the house.
Alex- (Curious) Your mom is still on that business trip?
Mike- (Joyfully) Yep. Had the whole house to myself for the past week.
Alex- Wait until she sees that math test grade you got.
Mike- Bah, I'll figure out something. But you, my friend, are screwed.
Alex- Yeah, I know. The way they say it makes it sound so easy. "Work harder, study harder" It's not easy trying to balance school and your personal life.
(Mike slowly nods his head in agreement as he can see where Alex is coming from)
Mike- Speaking of personal life, did you ask her?
(Alex face slightly turns red)
Alex- (Embarrassed) N-no. No- Not yet.
(Mike scoffs at Alex)
Mike- BRO! We have talked about this several times! The only way you're gonna know if she thinks the same thing about you is by telling Charlotte you love her! You've two been friends since 1st grade! If she says no, she's not gonna hold it against you!
Alex- (Embarrassed) D-Dude, I like her but she's not into me!
(The two immediately become silent when they see Charlotte walking past them)
(Mike gives Alex a smile)
Mike- (Joyfully) Only one way to find out
(Mike gets up and runs over to Charlotte)
Alex- (Embarrassed) Dude! Please don't fucking do this!
(Alex watches as Mike reaches Charlotte and starts talking)
(Alex's face turns red as he sees Mike pointing at him. Charlotte looks at Alex and then back at Mike)
(Alex starts thinking of all the possible outcomes of what might happen, both positive and negative)
(Alex wants to get up and run over to them and tell Charlotte everything Mike said wasn't true, yet it feels as if he is frozen)
(Alex diverts his direction from the two talking, to the cafeteria door. One of the teachers opens the door, their hand holding their neck as blood pours down from it. The teacher collapses on the ground)
(Alex finally gets up and runs over to him, so does Charlotte and Mike and a bunch of other students)
Charlotte- (Concerned) Hey, Mr.B? Are you alright?
