"AUBREY?" HERO's head was still spinning, "Hey, don't pass out on me!" AUBREY shook both of his shoulders. "Here, drink up. You're so damn pale.." She said letting go of his shoulders and giving him the water bottle from her pocket. HERO took it and chugged everything down in a matter of seconds. "Jeez, when was the last time you actually drank water?" HERO shrugged, he didn't know.

"Come here." She gestured for HERO to come on over. They walked to the swing and they sat there, "AUBREY, are you... mad at me?" HERO asked. "Why would I be? Was it because of earlier?" She answered, kicking the ground to push herself back. "Yeah, you seemed to be really pissed." HERO let out a humourless laugh, "I wasn't angry- no I was but it's dumb...", AUBREY brushed her hand down her entire face.
"It's because you only came to me because my friends asked you to. When I saw you come in I had at least a small amount of hope that you were there because... you wanted to be there." She sighed, looking at the ground - ashamed of the emotions she's feeling.

"I'm sorry for walking out like that, I know you wanted me to stay even though you kicked me out. It's just that with everything happening around here, I can't even look SUNNY in the eye without wanting to scream my lungs out."
AUBREY looked at him, "Well, are you mad at him?" she asked, tilting her head. "No. I can't, because everytime I try to, I just see MARI. I see her upset and angry by the fact I even thought of wanting to hate SUNNY. If she was here at this very moment, she would forgive SUNNY in a heartbeat."

"I don't either... I feel like I should be but honestly? After everything with BASIL and the lake, I feel as if I don't have the right to. Even now, I always wonder what would happen if you didn't show up. What would happen to them both?" She breathed heavily before continuing, "With what happened to SUNNY, he didn't have that HERO to catch MARI from her fall. He didn't have anyone to save MARI, while I did. Even so, I feel horrible even if BASIL's alive, I can't imagine what SUNNY must've felt like." Her voice broke as she said her last sentence, tears pooling her eyes and streaming down her cheeks.

HERO stood up from his swing and went to hug AUBREY. "It's gonna be okay..." She hiccuped against his shirt, burying her face in it while sobbing. "I don't like feeling like this..." She said, weeping her eyes out as her sentences began to slur. "Why does everything have to be so messed up!"

"Hey, AUBREY?" AUBREY hummed, "Don't tell SUNNY or KEL about this... I wanna tell them myself." AUBREY nodded.

HERO heard the front door open and slam. KEL was home and he was beyond pissed. He opened the door room, a scowl painted on his face. Slamming that door, he spoke, "What the hell was that all about a while ago?!".

HERO said nothing, collecting what he wanted to say. "What, so you're gonna hate SUNNY now? You're gonna think he's some kind of- some kind of murderer?!" He stomped his foot.

HERO still said nothing, not knowing what to say. "I know MARI meant so much to you, but news flash! MARI meant a lot to all of us too!" KEL was fuming in anger, anger you have never seen before. "Do you think you're special just because you smushed faces with her? Do you really think you're hot shit just because you guys dated?"

HERO has heard enough, "Shut up!" He said standing up.

"I didn't say anything about hating SUNNY, okay? Where did you get that from?" HERO said angrily, "KEL, the reason I was so damn mad was you're shot me that look you're giving me right now,"
HERO wanted to stop himself from running his mouth. He knew nothing good was gonna come from this.

"You were looking at me as if I was the bad guy. You looked at me as if I had no right to feel angry, even if I was. I'm sorry I can't be you, KEL." HERO's eyes pooled with tears. "I loved her, you did too. Everyone did," Silence. "So, if you think I think I'm better than all of you just because I dated her you're wrong. Even if we were dating, she was still my best friend just like you and everyone else."
