so my friend got puppies and sent me a picture of one, and of course i just had to paint it XD
i didn't spend as long on its i often spend on paintings (maybe 4 hours on this) but it was a really good exercise to just paint almost exactly what i saw. i had a lot of fun bc it was so different from what i usually paint (clearly) and also my first time trying to paint a dog. it's a little bit off but i'm sure i'll get better.
i actually used watercolor and gouache paints for this one. my white watercolor tube dried out and a white gouache was the only other white i had, and so i just went for it. bc it was so much more pigmented then i was able to paint so many layers over each other, which i actually really liked! haha
