My Jack-o-Lantern

Mkay so I know I made this a day after Halloween but I don't really care haha. It's not like anyone will ever see it besides my family either way because we don't live in a neighborhood lol

Anyways, so we got a pumpkin plant in July, but the pumpkins ended up kinda puny, except one. Obviously my sister got that one 🙄😒

So while my sister ended up with the cutest, most symmetrical perfect pumpkin, I ended up with bean pumpkin. (I named it.) trust me when I say it is weird and more of a squash shape and doesn't stand up.

But I know it doesn't sound like it cause I vented a bit, but I was still having fun! And it would be okay, even though mine was...beany, it was going to be ok.

And then I realized I lost the pumpkin carving kit, so I had to use a marker and a huge kitchen knife. But it was still going to be okay! Despite my family's 'that is never going to work' that only got worse when they saw the design I had sketched on the pumpkin, I had only lost a little bit of confidence.

And I should tell you, I suck at jack-o-lanterns. Like, last year mine looked literally disgusting. I'm not even kidding. Imagine a 3 year old given the privilege of a sharp object and a pumpkin.

But I pulled myself together this year! And I know this isn't even that good, but it is for me, ok? ESPECIALLY FOR USING A 12 x 2 INCH KITCHEN KNIFE

Someone better be able to guess who it is or I will be reassured that my drawing skills are trash because I didn't even have a freaking stencil Lmao 😂
