『 The duo 』

"Y/N!! To you!" As the ball dance around in the air and landed over to me.

I look at our opponent and did a dump since they are busy focusing on our middle blocker, Kori.

"Y/N, can't you even go easy on us? This is just a normal practice, and plus, we're just first years." My juniors whined as I just give them a peace sign.

"Well, you just can't ask her to go easy. She is literally a beast." Eui walked over to us and join the mini conversation.

Niki, a first-year middle blocker then said, "Eui-senpai, I heard that she's friends with Sakusa-san."

"Ah, so you heard. Mhm, they are childhood friends. You should've seen their teamwork, it was perfection." Eui said in a royalty tone.

I rolled my eyes at her, what a drama queen. Eui continue to talk about us with the first years while I just went to the bleachers.

I was drinking and trying to get a rest before another match when a voice popped out behind me.

"Yo, what are you all doing?" I turned around and saw Komori with Sakusa.

"I should be the one asking, what are you two doing here?" I gently place my water bottle beside me and stood up.

Komori smiled, "Our practice ended early so I was wondering if you want to walk home together. But it seems like your practice is still ongoing."

I sigh and patted his head, "Sorry, but I'm sadly still in practice. Do you guys want to meet the first years and maybe give them some advice?"

He sighed and agree to meet up with the first years. As we walked to the court, Sakusa and I followed behind Komori.

"Omi-chan, do you have any essay that you like to write for the project?" I asked with sparkles around me.

He look at me and handed me a paper. "I researched these information during break time. Just put it all together and we'll be fine."

"Omi-chan, than-"

"Keep your mouth shut."

"Right."

Sakusa and Komori greeted the first years and Niki spoke, "Y/N and Sakusa senpai, would you mind having a match with us?"

Eui eyes widen and look over to Niki.

Does this kid know what she's talking about?

Aoi then came and added, "I suppose that could work to improve our skills."

And so, a mini match of 3 vs 3 was formed.

Eui, Niki and Aoi formed a group while I'm stuck with Sakusa and Komori.

Niki served the ball and got received by Komori.

Sakusa then murmur, "let's just quickly end this..."

I rolled my eyes and set a low serve to provoke him, he managed to hit it and scored a point for us.

"Yay, nice one Omi-chan!" I said while giving him a high-five. But I ended up getting hit at the back of the head by Sakusa. Maybe he realize what I was trying to do just now.

After some rounds, my team was in the lead by 21-13

Aoi did a powerful serve and was trying to get a service ace, but sadly the ball got received by Komori.
