A shocked Jemima stared around the circle at her friends, her gaze scanning them for help. She spotted Victoria mouthing 'Dare!' And Electra doing to same. "Well?" Tugger questioned, purring. Jemima felt revolted at Tugger's behaviour. She had never liked the arrogant male kitten, who showed off at any opportunity and always tried to seduce the other kittens, who were wound around his paw. "Truth," Jemima managed to spit out, shooting her friends a glare as they groaned in unison. "Alright then, I have a truth for Jemima," Demeter exclaimed from her position near the reddish kit. She had spotted Jemima's uncomfortable posture, and glazed embarrassed eyes. She spoke clearly, "Do you like Tugger, or is there some cat else?"
Jemima's fur bristled at the question. If she answered truthfully, Alonzo may never like her and find her desperate. But if she didn't reply, then Tugger would never know how she felt and continue to harass her. "Well," she gulped, "I personally don't like it when Tugger tries to seduce me, y'know with the tail and everything. I play along for the benefit of my friends. But there's no cat else that I'm crushing on." Jemima breathed out loudly in relief, she finally got it off her chest!
She looked up to see the gold and black Tom looking dumbfounded, he'd never met a cat -except the older queens- who didn't like how he acted. And maybe except his brothers. Etcetera and Victoria gasped and all eyes were fixed on Jemima. "Well," Tugger cleared his throat and began the cycle again. Jemima was ecstatic inside, she finally had that Rum Tum Tugger off her back! He really was a terrible bore. His paw landed on Alonzo, and Jemima stiffened. If anybody had gathered she liked Alonzo, they may dare him to do something. "Alonzo, truth or dare?" Alonzo lifted his chin to Tugger and meowed, "dare!" The cats around him oo'ed and ahh'ed at his bravery. Tugger played with his spiked collar until his face lit up.
"Alonzo, your dare is to go up to one of these female kittens, and pretend they're your mate!" Alonzo looked fairly confident, but Jemima felt her spine shiver, what if Alonzo picked her?
