"But I like it this way." Jungkook puts his head back on Jin's shoulder.

"Hey listen to this." Jin passed one ear of his headphone to Jungkook.
They are in the computer lab, studying, or rather enjoying each other's company I would say. Jin found this song very beautiful and wanted Jungkook to listen to it too. It was Christina Perri's "A thousand years", a very beautiful song.
"Time stands still Beauty in all she is I will be brave I will not let anything take away What's standing in front of me Every breath Every hour has come to this"
Jungkook is listening to the lyrics, he could feel each and every word in his stomach. His heart suddenly feels heavy. He crossed his arms and legs and put his head down and went quiet, very very quiet. Jin is looking at him, he is wandering what happened, why is Jungkook suddenly so serious?
"And all along I believed I would find you Time has brought your heart to me I have loved you for a thousand years I'll love you for a thousand more"
And the song ended. Jungkook looked up with a sigh and looked at Jin. Jin was looking at him intently, curious as to why the other is so quiet.
"Can we go outside?" Jungkook asked Jin
"Sure." And with that they both took their books and headed out of the lab.
They came across a bench and Jungkook signalled Jin to sit. He took Jin's hands, looked at the other for a moment and started talking,

"Jin. You are a beautiful person. You are in fact the most amazing person I have ever met. But I don't know how you feel about me. Why do you hang out with a nerd like me? You are so perfect, I feel I don't even deserve to be your friend."
Jin remained quiet for a bit, he doesn't know how to respond. He never thought of himself as perfect, in fact he is far from it. But he knew he had to say something now otherwise Jungkook might misunderstand.
"I am not perfect Jungkook." Jin sighed and continued "Do you remember I told you that my father died? Well that was a lie. My father is actually alive. He cheated on my mother, made one his colleague pregnant. As soon as my mother came to know about this, they got divorced. I was 3 at that time. I often saw my mom crying but didn't understood her pain, I didn't even console her. Mom didn't even have a job back then, you have no idea how hard it was for us. My life is far from perfect." Jin finally let out his breath.
Jungkook was silent, he was intently watching the other.
Jin went on, "You know, I have never told about this to anyone in this college. You are the first one."
"Really? I am the only one to know?" Jungkook's eyes widened, a little happy and proud that he knew something that even Jimin and Suga didn't know.
"Yes, and that's how much comfortable I feel with you. With you, I feel I can show my vulnerable side. I feel safe around you. And that's why I hang out with you. So did that answer your question?" Jin suddenly went back to his teasing self and pinched Jungkook's nose.
