Larck had doubts. It certainly couldn't be helped. There was no possible way he would look at the guests believing that this young man approved to be the next Duke, is actually a come back corpse revived from his grave.

Besides, Larck's mind was complicated thinking about the unbelievable situation. The badge and its owner were both real which means the Whishipper bloodline didn't end.
Somehow, he had a bad feeling about what would come next related to such a grand fact, yet also uncontrollable anticipation.

When Rivan walked to a certain direction, Larck narrowed his eyes.

'So he'll do that now huh. he's been aiming for this since earlier....as if he knew about the Will all along'

Rivan stopped in front of a certain someone. His every movements were aligned with elegance and stealth so the person he stood before didn't notice him until he whispered.

"Eliot."

Rivan called softly. The young boy flinched slightly at the call of his name. Eliot raised his head slowly. His big red like blood eyes stared blankly at Rivan as they held no emotions, much similar to a real moving doll. However, they never looked away and kept waiting for the black haired young man to speak.

Rivan had a small smile when he spoke gently.

"Eliot Lether, my mother's nephew. I am Rivan Whishipper, your new guardian."

"..."

Eliot was silent to the words for a moment before his eyes flashed a bit and he spoke quickly.

"Mole guy!"

"Hmm?"

Rivan was confused and had a surprised look. This was the same for the other attendants. They were taken back by the sudden unexpected words.

"You have a mole next to your mouth!"

Eliot pointed to the face before him with a surprised widened eyes. The red blood eyes were so focussed on that spot of Rivan's face and seemed like they would pierce it with stares.

The corner of Rivan's lips twitched and he let out a fake cough to get back to his gentle smile and composed soft attitude.

"Ahem. Yes, apparently, I am the mole guy. Do you know anything else about me?"

Eliot stared silently. He started observing Rivan with much more surprise and a bit of suspect.

"The mole guy has green cat eyes. They're green, shining like the Peridot gemstone. But..."

"But?"

Rivan encouraged him and Eliot's eyes clouded over as he explained.

"The mole guy have long since he died."

There were quiet and low shocked whispers that could be clearly heard asking with all their disbelief if they have heard the young boy's statement clearly. They certainly have heard the young 13 years old master who have never the heir of the Duke's title, claim to know about his death 14 years ago.

Rivan kept silent. He crossed his arms and titled his head thinking and observing Eliot without care of his previous elegant attitude.

The young boy did take the invitation to openly stare at Rivan as well.
When the pair of blood red eyes and Peridot green eyes have met, Rivan suddenly spoke with a warm wide smile. As if his words were not any odd from a normal claimant.

"I see. Well, I did die once."

Those words sent the chills to the confused terrified guests. It struck them like icing thunder. This young man is speaking as if he got revived from death. Truly a living dead.

Rivan chuckled slightly.

"Haha, I can't have you call me mole guy though. Rivan is my name if you want to use it. You can call me anything else, as you please."

He bowed slightly and offered his hand as he asked. He changed back to a more elegant and charming smile.

"Whether it's the mole guy or your guardian, would you go with me?"

Eliot had a blank expression looking at the hand. He ignored the question to ask his own.

"Aren't you a bad guy?"

"Hehe"

Rivan couldn't help but chuckle. A wide wicked smile bloomed on his face and his eyes glimmered in obvious amusement.

"No, I am not the bad guy. However, I am the villain~"

His honeyed voice sounded like the whispers of the demon. There are who secretly believed he was the villain that came to bring chaos. At this point, everyone has given up speaking.

Eliot's doll eyes blinked a bit before he nodded in understanding.

"I see."

Eliot stood up from his seat and bowed in respect.

"Your Grace, I am Eliot Lether. It's my honor to meet the Duke of Whishipper."

His words were formal and full of sincerity. However, the most shocking thing is the slight emotions that can be heard in his calm voice. It was much more than what the young boy have shown the entire conversation.

Eliot reached and grabbed Rivan's hand. The young Duke smiled in satisfaction and held firmly into Eliot's smaller hand.

Yet he spoke slow words in a low tone, so that only the young 13 years old boy could hear them.

"I am glad to meet a Secret Holder."

Eliot had his blank innocent expression as he replayed similarly.

"I am glad to meet the person who caused the Lady's death."
