I got in the car and i look behind me, seeing a dirge and woeful mamrey, crying nonstop and beside her was her mother, comforting her.

"goodbye to all the things i've ever loved" I mumbled " goodbye mamrey"

and i waved at her from behind the windsheild of the backseat.

It was snowing that day, just a bit of a snowfall and fog. typical boston weather.

As my dad kept driving, i look back again and i see mamrey and her mother fade by the mist of the fog and i see them no more.

I kept thinking, thinking about all the new people i was going to meet, i thought it would be just a little easy for me to make new friends, because im the outgoing type. but not so much.

We were going to stay with my nonna for a bit, until my dad was finished with some paperwork that had to do with getting our new home.

my dad distracted my thoughts and tried to make me feel better.

"cheer up kiddo, you'll see mamrey again, her parents and i were talking and they said they had plans to come visit in 6 months time. I'm sure they'll tell mamrey about it too"

suddenly my mood rose and i had a little smile on my face, It was stuck there for the rest of the trip.
