Chapter 1 // Love Is Stupid

It was a cold winter day along with the end of the school year... the day I finally confessed my feelings for Levi... even since I met him I had liked him. He was a pretty anti-social person, the only friends he had were Hanji, and Erwin, but even so he was very popular because of his looks, he had raven black hair with a small petite figure, his eyes were misty gray, every time I looked at them I would get lost in the pool of darkness.

After my classes were over I put on my winter coat and scarf, I ran to the senior hall outside and open the door. I know it might sound weird but I knew a lot about Levi, I knew that his favorite beverage was tea, I knew that when he holds a tea cup he holds it from the top, I knew that when he's confused he scrunches his eyebrows and bites down on his bottom lip.

...These are all things that appear on the outside... I wanted to know more about what's on the inside of Levi...

But, I knew I could never know because I know I'm going to get rejected, I know that it's non-reciprocated feelings... heck, I wouldn't even be surprised if he doesn't even know I exist since we haven't interacted in years...

As I walk up the stairs I finally reached the indoor garden door... I take a deep cool breath getting myself prepared for the harsh rejection. I then decide to take the time to reflect on how we first met...

Exactly 3 years ago...

"Well, I guess this is it huh?" Mikasa said

"Their, their it's going to be okay!" I told my friend hoping she would cheer up

It's been a week since my friend Mikasa has been living with us, and also 2 weeks since her parents died, I was helping her pack her things because in the morning she was going to live with her distant cousin and his family, they were a pretty wealthy. Well at least that's what I heard from my mom.

"Done." She says in a depressing tone

I really felt bad for her since everything that has happened.. but I had a shrewd of hope that things would get better once she moves into her new home with her cousins family.

As we walk downstairs my mom and dad help me and Mikasa pack her things into the trunk of the car.

"You ready Dear?" My mom says rubbing Mikasa's back

"Yeah..." She says looking down at her feet

I frown at her reaction as we get into the car to drive to her new home. We stop and a big modern house I get out of the car and I knock on the door. I waited for a moment till a short boy raven haired boy opens the door

"Hello?" He says snapping me out of my trans

"Ah, yes um were hear to drop off Mikasa." I say hesitantly he gets on his tippy-toes and looks behind me to see my parents getting Mikasa's bags out of the car

"I see, come in then." He says waving his hand towards the entrance

After we talk to his mom, I learn that his name is Levi... Levi... what a nice name...

From that day on I could not stop repeating the name 'Levi' in my head. As the years past I was a freshman in high-school now and I find out that my best friend Mikasa and Armin are attending the same school as me... then... that also means that. Levi will be their to...

Ever since the start of high-school I've been watching him from afar and learning things about him.

End of flash back

I take another deep breath and open the door to the garden to see Levi. I walk up to him shaking my feet. He closes his book and says

"I know someone is their..."

I flinch at the sudden sound of his voice, then walking over to him so he can see me I said

"Ah, yes you might not remember me but I-I'm Eren..."

"I do know who you are, also what do you need?" Levi said in a gruff tone

"U-um well you see, I kinda of..." I stop and take a big gulp

"Spit it out, I don't have all day." He said tapping his food on the ground

"I like you!" I blurt out suddenly

As expected  I hear a loud sigh  coming from Levi

"Look kid, I barley know you... also I'm a guy if you haven't noticed... anyways sorry but no." He replies

"Yes I u-understand, s-sorry for wasting your time" I told him walking off

Once I get home I laid on my bed sighing.

"Love is stupid..."
