I accidentally get struck by lightning

I thought my day couldn't get any worse or weird but now i was on a full on car chase! "What do you mean we're being chased?" I exclaimed. "Well, your smell attracts a lot of monsters."
"Excuse me? Are you telling me I stink?"
"No! I can't tell you anything I'm not sure of." Ben exclaimed as the car swayed and i went weightless. Just a tip, always wear a seatbelt. I banged my head against the metal part of the seat in front of me. The car rolled around the road till it came to a stop. My ears rang, the hairy cab driver had her head against the shattered window. I put my hand against the my forehead, it was bleeding. Ben was pale and look very terrified. His shaggy blond hair was in every direction. "Are-are- are you okay?" Ben shuddered, "I'm fine," I said as i kicked open the door. The day was gloomy and humid. I slowly crawled out of the car. I was surround by farming lands. The car had crashed along a dirt road. In the distance I could see the big green forest with a strange yellow flickering light, maybe a torch. Standing behind the wreck was an extremely tall one eyed monster. He had chubby leathery green skin and one big beady black eye, dragging behind him was a huge bronze bat. Ben crawled out also and kicked off his shoes. I expect to see his feet but instead of feet he had hooves! "Are you starring at my hooves?" He asked as he grabbed a branch. "No..." I trailed off. I wasn't sure what a tree branch would do against a huge monster but I guess he has a plan because I didn't. "Me must kill you!" The monster bellowed as he pounded his bat on the ground. Ben charged the monster but the monster swatted him away with his hand. Ben went flying across the field and bounced like a ball. I was paralyzed in fear, the monster laughed which sounded like a screeching sound. "Now your turn." The one eyed said as he raised his bat and swung. I got out of my shock and jumped to the side. The impact on the ground created a mini earthquake. I had no weapon and Ben was laying there not moving at all. "Where you go? I must kill you!" He bellowed. I tried to remember what type of monster it was. My mom made me study everything about Greek mythology. I remembered, it was a Cyclops. I kept running toward Ben while the cyclops kept banging his bat behind me. Ben got up and threw his stick at the Cyclops eye. He ran toward the cyclops and jumped but this time the cyclops hit him with his bat. Anger filled my chest, I ran toward the cyclops and stood right in front of it. "You want to kill me? Well you can try." I said as the air stated to smell metallic. Thunder boomed over head and lightning stuck me and propelled toward the cyclops. The cyclops screeched as he turned to dust. I fell to my knees, my body sparked with lightning. The sky started to clear, Ben was still out cold. I got up and tried to walk to Ben but something hard hit my head. I collapsed onto the ground. Hovering over me was a boy, who looked about sixteen and everything went black.
